They have a full menu of food we're sure is delicious, but the correct answer is a personal order of chimichangas. They're crispy AF and come with fresh pico de gallo.
Small Cheval
Old Town is the closest location to the hotel, but these are all over the city. There is even one in the bleacher section at Wrigley Field now if you're catching a Cubs game during this weekend. Come for the burger and fries, stay for the garlic aioli sauce and boozy shakes. The fancier version of Small Cheval. Their version of the burger comes with bacon thicker than fast food burger patties.

If you know far enough ahead of time that you want to spend a full weekend in Chicago and want to include a super fancy dinner, you'll want to go ahead and make a reservation here. You can get personal plates, but we've found that the best course of action is order a bunch of things and share. And, please take us at our word here - you'll want the pig face.

It's a bar with a 9 hole putt putt course in it. Self explanatory.
Lincoln Park Zoo
You'd be surprised how nice of a zoo it is, considering it's free (donations encouraged). Plenty of animals, beautiful grounds. Great place to incorporate into a long walk on a nice day.
North Avenue Beach
Made with real sand! Also there's a bar and restaurant, and if you get there early enough you might be able to snag a volleyball court.
