The bride most likely to wear six layers and still shiver.

The bride most likely to resist wearing adequate cold weather apparel.
Best Person
Dani and Rachel connected via Facebook before starting their Freshman year at Northwestern. After Dani spent most of spring quarter sleeping on her dorm room floor, they made it official and became roommates for the rest of college (but with a real kitchen). After christening their oven, abandoning ship from the theatre program, and countless 3 AM epiphanies, they're best friends for life.
Best Person
Trish and Stuart met at a local Fencing Club and became friends while trading blows. Part of the club tradition was to give each other nicknames, and while Trish was graced with the impressive title of "Protector and Overlord of All Fish," somehow Stuart ended up with the very imaginative, "Stu." They no longer fence, but are still best friends and get together for drinks, games, and Scooby-Doo marathons as often as they can.
Bridesman In Absentia
The dapperest boy to ever dapper, Agent Thunderpuff has been all decked out in his suit and ready for this wedding since the moment he was born. Dani and Trish have decided to make someone else tell him he's not actually invited to the ceremony though, they're worried his 'love-noms' might get a bit extra pointy when he hears the news. Still, he's their special boy, pointy bits and all!
Bridesmaid In Absentia
What is there to say about Delilah other than no words could ever possibly hope to capture her beauty and grace! Gods and mortals alike swoon in her presence, and a chorus of angelic praise follows in her footsteps. She has kindly agreed to stay away during the ceremony so as not to overwhelm the guests with her majesty, but even from a distance Trish and Dani will feel her presence.
Mother of the Bride
In third grade, Dani's mom decided she wanted to design rides at Disney when she grew up. Her first job out of college was -- drum roll please -- designing rides for Disney. She was an Imagineer for almost 40 years before retiring to raise a pride of tiny lions (aka 2 Maine Coons and 1 chubby Alley Cat).
Mother of the Bride
A systems analyst for many years, Sue is now retired and spends her summers outdoors biking, kayaking, and running an urban garden. When not outside, she volunteers for community programs and is a respected and outspoken voice in the movement for LGBTQ+ equality in the church. Growing up, some of Trish's best memories are of her mom reading out loud to her for hours on end.
Father of the Bride
Dani's dad is a man of many talents, from engineering to writing to attracting kittens with his catnip aftershave (just kidding). He started his own theme park engineering company in the second bedroom of an apartment he shared with Linda (proof marriage can survive anything). Alcorn McBride Inc moved into new headquarters this year and opened a tiki bar for employees and industry guests.
Father of the Bride
Jim leads a research team at Ford Motor Company specializing in high-frequency design and high-speed communications. He is also the recognized expert bow-tie wearer in any social setting (though Trish may give him a run for his money at the wedding!). When not at work he's just as active as Sue, and if you can't find him out for a stroll or bike ride with his wife, look to the skies and you might see him flying a plane! Trish and her dad also had hours of fun in the workshop over the years, and he taught her everything she knows about tools and woodworking.
Officiant
The best sister Trish could ask for, Liz ignored all social conventions that said big sisters had to be embarrassed to hang out with their little sisters, and always brought Trish along on all her adventures! Whether they pretended to be pirates on a family camping trip or rewatched (yet again) Emma Peel and John Stead in the BBC's 'Avengers,' Liz and Trish were pretty much inseparable growing up. Trish is so honored Liz will be performing the ceremony and she knows she and Dani will be blessed with all Liz's positive energy and good will!
