Airports

For guests traveling from out of state or country, Kalamazoo, Michigan and South Bend, Indiana have small airports that are about 45 - 50 minutes away from the wedding. Chicago's airports, Midway (MDW) and O'Hare (ORD), are both about 2 hours away. Other airports you might consider are Grand Rapids (GRR, 1.5 hours away) and Detroit (DTW, 2.5 hours away).

Train

Amtrak

There is a train station in St. Joe/Benton Harbor that connects to Chicago and Grand Rapids, as well as several other cities in Michigan. The travel time by train between Chicago and Benton Harbor is just under 2 hours. From Grand Rapids to Benton Harbor, it is just over 2 hours. In my experience, Amtrak sometimes has delays, so please keep that in mind if you are planning to come in the day of the wedding.

Travel Note

For groups, you might want to consider checking out houses for rent on airbnb. There are some beautiful spots along Lake Michigan as well as nearby Paw Paw Lake in Coloma (about 15 minutes away).
