Maid of Honor
Megan met Alissa 12 years ago during her sophomore year at Lynchburg College, when the two were assigned as roommates for a winter term in Italy. What started as a simple photography 101 assignment quickly turned into a lasting friendship; one that has spanned countries, careers, and countless miles, eventually bringing them both to the West Coast. After college, Alissa earned her BSN and began working as a travel nurse, while Megan pursued graduate school and served in the Peace Corps. No matter where life took them, they made it a priority to stay connected; often flying across the country (or the world) to meet up, proving that distance was never a barrier to their friendship. In time, Alissa put down roots in Portland with her husband, Michael, and welcomed their son, Lennox. Megan followed her own path to Seattle, and while the two still playfully insist that their respective PNW cities are superior, they share a deep love for both places and for being just a short drive apart once again. Throughout the years, Alissa and Michael have been an incredible source of support for Megan, from helping her move into her first Seattle apartment to opening their home for laundry days when her building lacked a washer and dryer. Known among their college friends as the squad mom, Alissa has always been a steady, caring presence, making it all the more meaningful that Megan now has a little piece of home just down the road (and down the aisle).

Megan met Regina through Alissa one evening during their junior year in the library at Lynchburg College. They would go on to spend many sleepless nights, some full of studying (Regina far more diligently than Megan), and others less tame. They became official besties during a semester abroad to Italy and Greece. Regina, a proud Jersey girl, is effortlessly funny with her boisterous personality that kept everyone's spirits up while navigating cultural and linguistic differences like pizza norma. After undergrad, Megan and Regina both enrolled in graduate school, but made a point to escape to New York City for girls’ weekends; experiences Megan still considers among her most cherished memories of her twenties. Along the way, Megan jokingly became an honorary member of Regina’s family, attending numerous family gatherings and meeting nearly every branch of her extended family tree. When Megan looks back on her 20s, she cannot do it without memories of late night McDonald's (literal) runs, early mornings scrambling to the airport, unfortunate hair extensions, discovering that I wore the wrong shoes(again), or 3rd wheeling with Regina and her husband, John in the last 10 years they've been together. They settled just outside New York City in Northern New Jersey. They also joyfully welcomed the arrival of their little girl, Dahlia, in January 2026. Megan is so thankful to have had Regina there for every stage of her 20s and now on her wedding day.

Megan met Morgan while working as a travel nurse just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. Morgan would be the first to say Megan was her most unexpected best friend. What began as a coworker relationship changed after a break room conversation, when Megan mentioned that a friend had backed out of a hiking trip to Nevada and Arizona, leaving her to go alone. Without hesitation, Morgan, an avid lover of the outdoors herself, offered to join. Two weeks later the two coworkers flew to the West Coast, not knowing how the trip would go or if they’d become friends. That spontaneous decision turned into two unforgettable weeks exploring some of the most breathtaking landscapes, and the beginning of a lifelong friendship. Since then, Megan and Morgan have made it a tradition to take an annual girls’ trip, always centered around the outdoors. Their adventures are filled with stunning national park views, conversations both big and small, endless laughter, a little bit of chaos, hired psychics, incorrect rental pickup locations, and the kind of memories that only come from shared travel. Though life has taken them to opposite coasts in recent years, their friendship has remained constant. Whether it’s a one-hour life update call or cheering each other on from afar, they’ve always found a way to stay close. Morgan and her fiancé, Nick recently moved to Ohio and welcomed their daughter, Jade, in March 2026 and are excitedly planning their own wedding this October!
Bridesmaid
Megan met Tori while they were both working as travel nurses in Seattle. Tori, originally from Boston, brings the bold, vibrant personality you might expect from a Massachusetts native, but what stands out even more is her big heart. During Megan’s first ski season, Tori was by her side, offering encouragement, patience, and the right amount of humor as Megan built her confidence on the slopes. She turned a challenging season into one filled with joy and unforgettable laughs. Outside the mountains, the two fully embraced Seattle life, attending more Mariners and Kraken games than they could count and setting a goal of making it onto every Jumbotron, a goal they proudly achieved. Whether it was a themed party, a spontaneous adventure, or a slightly ridiculous idea, Tori was always the first to say yes. While Tori is known for her big dawg energy, it is her heart that truly defines her. She shows up for the people she loves with kindness, understanding, and a sense of humor that seems to arrive exactly when it is needed most. Though their paths eventually took them to different coasts, Megan staying in Seattle while Tori returned to the East Coast and a move to and from Germany along the way, their bond has never wavered. Tori married her longtime partner, Christopher, and continues to bring joy and energy wherever she goes. If you are looking for Tori at the wedding, start on the dance floor, and if she's not there, you will likely find her singing karaoke.

Megan met Katelyn in nursing school while learning dosage calculations. The pair graduated together in May of 2020 (a really awesome year to be a new graduate nurse*cough*cough*). In fact, Megan and Katelyn were on spring break together in Savannah when the world shut down and both of their mothers told them to run to the grocery store to get any toilet paper or Clorox wipes we could find. The two braved their first year of nursing together and they laughed, cried, and became kick a** nurses together. That first year involved a lot of trips back and forth between Roanoke and Lynchburg. When Megan thinks back to that year, she thinks that there is no way she could have continued on as a nurse without Katelyn. We cheered each other up when we felt dumb or scared and laughed when healthcare inevitably becomes funny. Together, they stayed sane, laughed through a pandemic, and grew into adults. Megan watched Katelyn fall in love and get married, Katelyn move across the state(while Megan moved to the West Coast), and see Katelyn and Dustin start a family with the addition of their daughter Caroline last year. Megan doesn't know what's held their friendship together the most, but she thinks it's likely the pandemic trauma bonding, late night Benny's runs, an over exaggerated accent while telling the punchline, or day dreaming about being the Real housewives of Boonsboro.

Megan and Dane met Alicia in a chair lift line at Crystal Mountain Resort. They ended up riding the chair with Alicia, and during the small talk and the mountain views, Dane mentioned we had a group chat with 30+ of our ski friends. Naturally, she was baffled that anymore in the PNW had 30 friends that could follow through on ski plans and immediately was recruited into the WhatsApp chat (Chairlifts with Strangers, started by groomsman Kevin). Alicia did the rare thing amongst the Seattle Freeze; she followed through, showed up, and kept skiing with the group until she became a permanent fixture. It didn’t take long for Megan and Alicia to grow close. During their first ski season as friends, they both developed a rare illness on the morning of powder days, somehow to recover just in time to make it to Crystal for a mid morning ski session. Truly inspiring resilience. Alicia was there to celebrate Megan and Dane’s engagement at Schweitzer Mountain Resort, cementing her place not just as a ski buddy, but as a lifelong friend. Alicia is sharp, witty, and effortlessly social in any setting. She may be guilty of showing up late to a social function, but she always shows up when it matters most; and when she does, she brings thoughtfulness, understanding, and a way of connecting that makes everyone feel seen. Megan feels incredibly lucky to have Alicia by her side for every ski day, every night out, and all the adventures in between.
Bridesmaid
Megan met Savannah in the most Seattle way possible: at a farmers market, standing in line to buy tie-dye parachute pants. They started chatting and Megan learned that Savannah had just moved to Seattle from St. Louis only a couple weeks prior. Savannah wasn’t just a newcomer, she was a longtime Seattle dreamer who had finally made the leap to call the PNW home. Megan, equally in love with Washington’s mountains, water, and general main-character energy, immediately knew she had found her kind of person. Numbers were exchanged, the friendship took off, proving that yes, it is possible to break the infamous Seattle Freeze, especially when you combine Midwest nice with Southern charm. Since then, Megan and Savannah have built a friendship rooted in coffee runs that somehow turn into full-day hangouts, craft nights, EDM shows where they fully commit to the outfits, and hot girl walks around Alki. Whether it’s deep conversations or completely unserious yapping, Megan knows Savannah is always ready to show up, listen, and probably make her laugh in the process. Savannah is the kind of friend who is unapologetically herself; authentic, creative, and endlessly supportive. She’s the person you want in your corner for the big moments, the small moments, and everything in between. Megan feels incredibly lucky that a random farmers market encounter turned into a treasured friendship. She wouldn’t trade her for anything (not even the tie-dye parachute pants).
Best Man
Cole is Dane’s best man and longest active friend, with a history that goes all the way back to Spokane when Dane was five years old. Despite being four years younger, Cole quickly became the younger brother Dane never had. From walking to elementary school together to growing up side by side, Cole’s family became Dane’s second family, and the Beemer household his second home. After school in high school, Dane would walk straight into Cole’s house like it was his own—grab a ginger ale and fire up Call of Duty until Cole got home. The two spent their childhood wandering the neighborhood listening to Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, playing countless hours of Magic: The Gathering and StarCraft II, and learning life lessons like how frustrating it is to never draw enough land. Every Christmas morning, Dane would open presents with his own family before heading over to the Beemers’ to spend time opening gifts and celebrating as part of their family tradition. As they got older, winters turned into snowboarding trips and international scuba diving adventures, while another long-standing tradition involved traveling to different states together for the MLB All-Star Game and Home Run Derby with both families. These days, Dane still calls Cole almost every morning around 6:30 just to check in. Cole has always been Dane’s go-to person, and having him stand by his side as Best Man on the wedding day is something Dane couldn’t be more grateful—or more stoked—about.

Dane met Theo in 2023 when Theo joined Northwest Electric and Solar as a new sales consultant. For the first eight months, they were very much not friends—something Theo later admitted was because he didn’t think Dane was serious enough about his job. Eventually, Theo decided to give “this Dane guy” a chance, and a strong one-on-one friendship was born. Theo is a quieter, more reserved guy, so Dane naturally brought the energy, turning work sessions into hours of brainstorming, problem-solving, and motivation. A regular highlight of their routine includes Tuesday morning breakfasts at Jay’s Diner before work, fueled by a shared addiction to dried mangoes and the occasional (highly questionable) decision to eat pancake batter straight from the bowl. Dane spent the early days mentoring Theo in solar sales, but Theo’s unmatched work ethic and long hours quickly set him apart. His drive raises the bar and consistently pushes Dane—and everyone around him—to be better. They talk multiple times a day to check in, ask questions, or laugh about the very specific questions that only people in solar seem to ask. Theo has become one of Dane’s most trusted friends when it comes to work, growth, and showing up every day with purpose.
Groomsman
Dane met Mike Taylor—better known as Bike—during his junior year at Western Washington University while playing intramural soccer, where they quickly bonded over business, sustainability, and a shared appreciation for getting outside as much as possible. What started as classmates turned into countless climbing adventures together, from Smith Rock and Exit 38 to as far away as Thailand. Mike is Dane’s go-to climbing partner both in the gym and outside, and together they’ve taught more people than they can count how to climb safely—often joking about the very thorough lectures they endured from Craig Dunn along the way. Mike is always down for any outdoor activity and is also Dane’s trusted resource for asking “stupid” football questions about a sport he loves and Dane… politely tolerates. A naturally calmer soul, Mike relies on Dane to supply the energy needed for 6:30 a.m. climbing sessions. One of Dane’s longest and closest friends, Bike has been a steady presence throughout most of his adult life and someone he can always count on for support, laughs, and a solid belay.
Groomsman
Dane met Bryce Gould during his senior year at Western Washington University, and while they only had a few short quarters to hang out before Dane graduated, it was clear Bryce was someone easy to know and easy to like. After graduating, Bryce spent a few years in Portland working before making his way back to Seattle earlier this year—where timing worked out perfectly, as Dane needed a roommate and Bryce needed a place to land. Since then, the two have picked right back up where they left off. Bryce is always down to play any video game, especially Super Smash Bros. Melee, where countless hours have been spent practicing wave-dashing, with Bryce usually winning and Dane celebrating the occasional hard-earned victory. They’ve also logged serious time playing Pokémon, with Dane proudly showing off his ever-growing collection of Pokémon paraphernalia. Bryce is a kind, chill soul who can become friends with anyone, is always willing to make a hangout happen, and somehow always shows up when furniture needs assembling or a conversation needs having. Winters are spent snowboarding when schedules allow, and summers are filled with laughter. Reconnecting this year has been one of Dane’s favorite surprises, and having Bryce as part of the wedding party feels especially meaningful.
Groomsman
Dane met Kevin Geopp in the summer of 2018 while playing recreational soccer, where Kevin quickly learned that Dane has exactly one speed when it comes to sports: 110%—often resulting in injuries as the years went on. Kevin still tries to convince him to play, and Dane now politely (and wisely) declines. What started with regular soccer matches turned into years of climbing sessions at the bouldering gym alongside Mike Taylor, eventually expanding to rope climbing and outdoor adventures at Smith Rock, Exit 38, and Vantage. Kevin and Mike have been there for Dane during some of his lowest moments, helping him get back on his feet when it mattered most. These days, winters are spent snowboarding together on the weekends, while weekdays often start with early-morning climbs. Kevin is one of Dane’s go-to adventure buddies—always down for any outdoor sport when time allows. A long-running inside joke involves Dane constantly reminding Kevin that he “grew up in New Jersey,” where he went to school, despite Kevin being very much from Scranton, PA. Love this guy to death.
Groomsman
Dane met Justin Frank at a music festival in 2022, which quickly turned into a friendship built on snowboarding, dancing hard, and being there for each other when life gets heavy. Justin is always down to send it up to Seattle—whether it’s for a concert, a baseball game, or just because it sounded like a good idea at the time. The two have shared countless camping trips and music festivals, and pride themselves on laughing through just about any situation. They also share a running inside joke where everything becomes “ours”—parents, dogs, girlfriends, and anything else that definitely does not belong to both of them, which somehow never gets old. Beyond the fun, Justin has been a constant source of support through tough times, with Dane returning the favor whenever needed. Bonded by Pokémon, snowboarding, and genuine loyalty, Justin is proof that the best friendships are built on both chaos and care.
Groomsman
Adam Gil—better known as Gill—met Dane in 2019 on a camping trip, which somehow turned into a long-term friendship built on drum & bass, snowboarding, and saying “yeah, I’m down” to just about everything. Gill is always up for high-energy activities, outdoor adventures, and dancing aggressively to DnB like it’s a full-contact sport. Winters have been spent boarding at Schweitzer, Stevens, and Crystal, while summers are dedicated to tennis matches, ping pong battles, Super Smash Bros tournaments, and cruising around on longboards. A standout memory includes driving up to BC together for the very first DnB Worship tour—an experience that perfectly captures Gill’s role as Dane’s main guy for music, movement, and sending it. Hilarious, easygoing, and perpetually ready for the next adventure, Gill is simply elite vibes in human form.
