We do!

Our first date almost didn't happen that fateful September evening because Mandy was tired after work on Friday – and didn't want to have to be on her "best behavior" – but she mustered up the energy and met Dane at the local watering hole, Buffalo Gap, for drinks. Dane had Mandy at "do you want to do a tequila shot?" and Mandy had Dane at "yeah, let's keep the date going and go get some food!" We spent the rest of our first date hopping around Portland for food and drinks at some of our (still!) favorite places. We liked each other so much we spent the next day together and have spent pretty much every other day together since. In February 2019 we moved in together and got our beloved Golden Retreiver Gusteau in September that same year. We have traveled to eight states and two countries together, and survived a global-pandemic – in a 600sqft apartment none-the-less! We have thrived during the good times and have found a way to work through the tough ones with patience, love, and compassion. We're so excited to start our "forever" with our little family and are truly honored to share such a special occasion with the ones we love most.
