Flying In

While flying into the Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) in Hailey is the closest option (~7 minutes from the wedding venue), flying into Boise Airport (BOI) is also a great option (~2.5 hours away). The Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN - iflysun.com) is serviced by United, Delta, Alaska and American Airlines (with direct flights from SFO, DEN, SLC, SAN, SEA, PHX, ORD). From the Boise airport, you can either rent a car or book a ticket on the Sun Valley Express Shuttle (https://starlinecollection.com/sun-valley-express/)

Travel Note

Getting Around

Rideshare services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) are limited in the Valley. A rental car will certainly allow for more flexibility and ease. Mountain Rides (https://www.mountainrides.org/) is the FREE (!) bus system in the Valley, but isn't always the most punctual or reliable. The Valley is also very bike friendly, and rentals can be acquired through Sturtevant's, Trailhead Bicycles, and PK's Bike Shop.
