Question

Will Winnie be there?

Answer

YES!

Question

Dress code?

Answer

Elevated Western or Fancy Ranch Think cocktail attire with an optional Western twist—open collars (or bolo ties), Western-inspired styles, organic patterns, and playful textured materials are encouraged. Wear your dancing shoes and come dressed for a good time in the California sunshine :) PSA: September in California is summery and will likely be warm (highs of 75-85 degrees with cooler evenings)

Question

Wedding Day Transportation?

Answer

We are providing shuttle transportation on Saturday 9/20 for guests to get to and from downtown SLO and Riata Ranch. Shuttles will pick up at Quality Suites Downtown. Please let us know if you plan to take the shuttle or drive in your RSVP form. Uber and Lyft are also available if needed.

Question

What time is the shuttle? and where?

Answer

Shuttles will pick up at Quality Suites Downtown SLO between 3 and 3:15pm on Saturday 9/20 to take you to the Ranch.

Question

Best Airport?

Answer

San Luis Obispo County airport (SBP) is the best option! See Travel page for alternative airport options.

Question

Best Arrival Time?

Answer

If you are wedding party or immediate family involved in the rehearsal, please plan to arrive by Friday morning at the latest, ceremony rehearsal will start around lunch time. For all guests, we are hosting a Welcome Party at 8pm Friday night 9/19, hope you can make it!

Question

Best Departure Time?

Answer

If you are able to stay, we are hosting a Brunch and Swim at the Riata Ranch House on Sunday at 12pm. We will be there all day and would love to see you :)

Question

Accommodations?

Answer

Our primary hotel block is at Quality Suites Downtown San Luis Obispo. Most people can plan to stay there. There is a pool and breakfast is included :) Apple Farm Inn, Hotel Cerro, and Hotel San Luis Obispo are also great options on our Travel Page. It will be most convenient for guests to stay near downtown San Luis Obispo. Our Friday night events will be there, and we will provide shuttles to and from SLO and Riata Ranch on Saturday.

Question

Do we need to rent a car?

Answer

If you fly into San Luis Obispo (SBP), you do not need to rent a car for the wedding weekend. Everything is within a short uber/lyft, and shuttle transportation will be provided on wedding day. If you choose to fly into another airport like San Jose or LAX, you will need to rent a car to drive to San Luis Obispo (3-3.5 hours). If you like having flexibility, by all means, rent a car or carpool!
