Activity: Fairwell Festival 2024
The Fairwell Festival is happening the weekend of our wedding at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond, Oregon, near the airport. The music festival has Folk, Rock, Country, and Soul and runs from Friday-Sunday. This year's lineup includes Caamp, Leann Rimes, Brandi Carlile, Whiskey Myers, Black Pumas, Colter Wall, and more! If you stick around for an extra day or two after our wedding, this would be a fun event to check out!

Viewpoint / Hike: Tumalo Falls
30 minutes west of Bend you'll find Tumalo Falls. Tumalo Falls is just a short walk from the car for great pictures! Or you can take about a mile hike from Tumalo Falls to Double Falls!
Viewpoint / Hike: Koosah and Sahalie Falls Trail
About an hour drive northwest of Bend, you'll find these two spectacular lush waterfalls! There is about a half mile hike between Sahalie Falls and Koosah Falls. Pro tip: Stop at Sisters Bakery in the town of Sisters on the drive up!
Viewpoint / Hike / Activity: Smith Rock State Park
This state park is gorgeous and has amazing views all around. There are a handful of hikes that you can take, or you can come to watch or participate in some excellent rock climbing!
Viewpoint / Hike: Pilot Butte State Scenic Viewpoint
You can hike up (1 mile) or drive up to the top of Pilot Butte in the center of town to get a great view of Bend and the surrounding mountains.
Hike: Tumalo Mountain Trail
3ish mile hike that can be tough but has great views from the top!
Hike: Black Butte Upper Trailhead
Another 3ish mile hike that has great views that allow you to see up to Washington state.
Viewpoint / Hike: Paulina Peak
You can walk or drive to the top of Paulina Peak to get some cool views of lava beds and nearby mountains and lakes.
Viewpoint / Hike: Crater Lake National Park
A two hour drive south from Bend lies the deepest lake in the United States at 1943 feet deep. Crater Lake National Park is stunning and a great day trip from Bend!

This fun 9 hole golf course backs up to Dan and Cristina's backyard!

The ultimate brunch spot in Bend. This place is seriously delicious. They do not accept reservations, so come early. They'll serve you your drinks while you wait for your table!

Great brunch spot with yummy food and good drinks! They don't take reservations, but will serve you drinks on the patio while you wait!
Brunch / Lunch: The Lemon Tree
A delicious brunch and lunch spot in downtown Bend. The decor here is very cute and the food is fantastic. Note: they do not accept reservations.
Lunch: Planker Sandwiches
The best sandwich spot and it's in the heart of downtown Bend! You don't want to miss their yummy sandwiches!
Lunch / Dinner: Bangers & Brews - Westside
Every type of sausage you could ever want - from pork to veggie to venison. You can get your sausage on a bun, on top of mashed potatoes, or on mac and cheese. The real treat is the homemade chimichurri!
Lunch / Dinner: Spork
A restaurant with global cuisine with inspiration from Latin America and Asia. We haven't had something at Spork that we didn't love! A fun relaxed vibe, but it gets busy!
Dinner: Rancher Butcher Chef
One of our favorite restaurants in Bend! If you're feeling fancy and in the mood for some mouthwatering steak, check out RBC! Pro tip: make a reservation in advance or try your luck at snagging a seat at the bar!
Dinner: BOSA Food & Drink
A must try Italian restaurant in Bend! You'll want to make reservations well in advance as it can be hard to get a table!
Dinner: Chomp Chomp
A fantastic Asian-fusion restaurant in downtown Bend. We can't say enough good things about their food and drinks! Plus they've got a fun upscale vibe.

This place is just a couple blocks away from Hotel Peppertree. A restaurant and bar with a built in sand volleyball court?! Another spot with good food, good drinks, indoor/outdoor space and a volleyball court where you can order drinks from the bar!
Tap House / Food Trucks: Crosscut- Warming Hut No.5
What a cozy cabin vibe right next to the Box Factory! Another great spot in Bend for beer and an indoor/outdoor atmosphere. They also have a handful of food trucks - including our favorite pizza spot Abe Cabanas!
Brewery / Food Trucks: Bend Brewing Company
In the heart of downtown Bend and also right on the Deschutes River! This place is hard to beat. They have an indoor and outdoor area, food, beer, and food trucks.
Tap House / Food Trucks: Midtown Yacht Club
Midtown Yacht Club has great beers, great ciders, and other drink options. They also have about 10 food trucks on the property so a lot of yummy food to choose from!

One of our favorite breweries in Bend! This spot has incredible views of Mt. Bachelor and the 3 Sisters Mountains. It has great beer and multiple food trucks to choose from! Our favorite is El Sancho!

Delicious beer and food! The Sunriver Brewing in Bend has a fun indoor/outdoor vibe! Located on the westside right next to Bosa.

A fun bar and restaurant in the heart of Bend located in the Box Factory. This place is always a good time!
