Please plan to arrive at Aspen Hall between 3pm and 3:30pm on Friday 7/19.
We will have a shuttle bus on 7/19 from Hotel Peppertree which will depart at 2:45pm and 3:15pm. The shuttle will also run in the evening from Aspen Hall back to Hotel Peppertree starting at 9:30pm. The shuttle will then switch to shuttle guests from Aspen Hall to Cross-Eyed Cricket starting around 10:30pm. We will have a party bus that will shuttle guests from Cross-Eyed Cricket back to your hotels / airbnbs.
7/19: The attire for the wedding celebration on Friday 7/19/24 at Aspen Hall is cocktail wedding attire. Typically this would include cocktail dresses, dressy jumpers, suit and ties, heels, and dress shoes. The wedding celebration will have both indoor and outdoor aspects, the outdoor celebrations will take place on a grassy lawn area and a concrete outdoor patio that surround Aspen Hall. 7/20: The attire for the BBQ and float on Saturday 7/20/24 is casual beach / lounge attire. We will be having brunch, BBQing, playing games, and floating the river on boats and/or tubes. We recommend bringing sandals like Tevas or aquasocks for the float (the bottom of the river can be muddy in spots and you don't want to lose a flipflop!). Bring your party pants! We can't wait to celebrate with you!
We love your sweet little ones, we are having an adult only wedding ceremony on 7/19/24 and hope you take this opportunity to have a night out. If you are looking for childcare while you are in Bend, there is a local site to find available sitters: https://snappysitters.com/ Our get together the following day 7/20 to float the river, brunch, bbq, and play games is kid friendly and we would love for everyone to join!
Aspen Hall has 64 parking spaces just outside the venue. These parking spaces are also shared with Shevlin Park users. We will also be providing a shuttle from Hotel Peppertree to Aspen Hall.
We will have an open bar (woo hoo!). We will be serving appetizers, we will have a variety of dinner and dessert options.
One of the best times to visit Bend is in the summer because of all of the amazing outdoor activities. Bend is typically sunny and warm in July with temps ranging from 75-90 degrees F. Please note that Bend is a high desert climate. We live at 3,500 feet of elevation and it is a drier climate.
Dan and Cristina are working to secure enough tubes for all those who want to float. If you have tubes that you can easily pack, please bring them! We recommend the River Run tubes. We will also have two inflatable boats for kids. If you want to purchase your own tube and have it sent to our house (they are ~$20 on Amazon). Link to tube on Amazon: https://a.co/d/aPdhaaW
We recommend bringing some sort of strap on sandals that can get wet (like Tevas), a swimsuit, sunscreen, optional: a waterproof case for your phone, and a hat.
We have the pergola at Farewell Bend Park rented out and will have food and drinks. The pergola is towards the west end of the park near the playground and bathrooms. Parking will be extremely limited so please plan accordingly. We will have a shuttle to bring people back to the pergola after the float.
