Standard Golf Attire
Dan will be hosting a golf outing followed by lunch at Apostle Highlands Golf Course, which is on the mainland ten minutes from Bayfield. RSVP by June 9th and let us know in advance if you need to rent clubs. We will be covering tee times and lunch.
10:00 am
We will be purchasing tickets for the Grand Tour Cruise. RSVP by June 9th to be included in the ticket block. The Grand Tour is a 2 1/2 - 3 hour scenic cruise along the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore passing historic Raspberry and Devils Island Lighthouses, standing rocks, extensive sea caves, and marine wildlife. Beverages are available for purchase on board, and they do allow passengers to bring their own food/beverages in a small personal cooler. Alcohol is allowed, the crew just asks that you behave yourselves :) Be advised the tour departs from Bayfield. If you are staying on Madeline Island, you will need to catch the 8:30AM ferry to the mainland that morning. When getting ready, please keep in mind air temperature is typically 10-15 degrees cooler on the water. It’s a good idea to bring extra layers!
5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Casual Attire
Please join us any time between 5:00 - 7:30PM for a casual BBQ dinner reception in the Lightkeepers Lodge Great Room & Terrace at The Inn on Madeline Island.
7:30 pm
Join Dan for one last "drink at the door", or as the song goes, "There's a good old Scottish custom that has stood the test o'time, It's a custom that's been carried out in every land and clime. When brother Scots are gathered, it's aye the usual thing, Just before we say good night, we fill our cups and sing..."
3:30 pm
Cocktail Attire: Think fancy cocktail dresses, elegant separates, dressy jumpsuits, blazers, slacks, suits.
The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, near the lake, and temperatures this time of year average in the 70s, but can dip into the 40s at night. When considering footwear, please keep in mind the gravel driveway and ceremony on the lawn. Following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail reception, seated dinner, and dancing to live music from the Bluewater Kings.
