Let's get a little dressed up! The dress code is cocktail or semi-formal attire. Think dresses and suits (tie recommended but not required). The ceremony and reception will be inside. Please, no jeans, shorts, or other casual clothing.
DO NOT TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY. Sorry for yelling there, but we are paying good money to have two wonderful photographers capture these moments and want you all looking at us, not your phone. This is important to us, so please silence your phones, don't take photos during the ceremony, and remind your neighbors the same.
Unfortunately, no. We love all the children in our lives but ask that you find arrangements to leave them at home for this night. Sorry or you're welcome.
Yes, please! Please don't make us harass you to respond.
Your presence is our present! If you're inclined and have the means, you can find our registry on this website. We very much appreciate gifts, but our greatest need is for you to be at our wedding and enjoying your time with us.
Yes, the venue will have drinks available after the ceremony. There will be a selection of batch cocktails, beer, and wine at no cost to you unless you all blow past the highly set bar tab limit. Post party drinks will be a cash bar and more information to come on recommended establishments.
You'll get to enjoy a buffet spread of locally made Mexican food for dinner. We loved their approach to make everything in-house and offer a variety of options for more restrictive diets, such as vegetarian and gluten-free. Light appetizers will be served during cocktail hour, accompanied by warm churros for dessert.
Yes! Our venue is located in downtown Nevada City, and it has a small parking lot found when taking the driveway toward the back of the building. Street parking is available throughout downtown. Most Nevada City parking meters only accept quarters (charming!) and charge $0.50/hr. (very reasonable). Be sure to bring some change, just in case.
Unlike its cousin, Nevada state, Nevada City is surrounded by a diverse, beautiful natural landscape that wraps around its historic downtown. Dan and Anna have taken numerous trips here, together and separately, and always enjoyed the area. The forest has beautiful camping, the Yuba River is a perfect place to spend a summer day, and the downtown is a fun place to spend the evening.
