Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, please apply or renew your passport as soon as possible!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

All wedding events will be at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa. Shared transfers to and from the airport and resort are included in the room block prices. If anyone decides to upgrade to private, it will be extra. Travel agent contact information is in the TRAVEL tab.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding night to be your night off! Dreams Riviera Cancun has babysitting services available. Reservations must be made 24 hours prior at the Concierge Desk by filling out a form with general information. Minimum service for babysitter is 3 hours. Payment goes directly to the babysitter.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend guests to stay at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa for the wedding events. Contact our travel agent for the best deal. If you decide to stay outside of Dreams, guests will have to purchase a day pass enter the resort. You will also have to bring your passport when you enter. Payments can be done directly at the resort. Upon arrival guests will be directed to the front desk to check in. Passports will be kept at the front until departure. Please let the Dana or Davontae know if you will be doing this.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/resort chic, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Question

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

All wedding events will be outdoors. We do have back up plans if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Question

Any tips for navigating Cancun International Airport?

Answer

On your arrival you will need to go through immigration. After you clear immigration, luggage claim, and customs, you will see timeshare vendors along the hall, they will try to offer free tours and assistance with your transfers. Please ignore them and find your transportation company.

Question

Should I tip in Mexico?

Answer

Tipping is not required at the resorts, but it is highly recommended! Here is a tipping guide below: https://www.gettingstamped.com/tipping-in-mexico-guide/
