Charlie proposed to Dana on a fall hike in one of their favorite areas. She was so surprised. She had been joking that she was going to propose to him not knowing that Charlie finally had a plan.

Dana’s best friend was there to take photos but even Lindsay and Brandon didn’t know the proposal was happening until Charlie was on one knee.

The proposal happened in nearly the exact spot they winter camped a few years back.

This was a dream. Dana couldn’t imagine a more beautiful back drop for such a special moment. There were shaky hands and happy tears although Charlie will say it was because of the cold wind.

Charlie thought he blew the surprise because he had “what knee do you propose on” pulled up on his phone that morning when we plugged it in to play music but she was none the wiser.
