Dana and Charlie met in climbing club at the University of Denver. And true to how they first met- their relationship has always been rooted in adventure. They’ve put thousands of miles on trails and bikes, climbed mountains (usually with Dana trying to keep up on the uphills), skied long winter weekends, and taken every opportunity to sleep under the open sky. They feel most like themselves on a challenging trail, chasing a summit or watching the leaves change each fall - a tradition they return to year after year. But their life together lives in two modes. During the week, it’s calm and steady - building careers, cooking dinner, hosting friends, and creating a home that feels like theirs. His family has become hers and hers has become his. And although they pride themselves on being weekend-warriors finding new adventures- it's the quiet life they’ve built that they love most. The best adventure of their lives has been each other. The 7 years they’ve shared so far are only the beginning. They’re excited to get married in their favorite season, with a view of the mountains they’ve climbed together, and can’t wait to keep building a life full of family, traditions, and many more miles on the trail.
