Kyndall and I met back in 1993 at a hospital in Overland Park. She saw my face, kissed me on my forehead, and demanded that my name be "Lucy". When my parents denied her request, Kyndall took it out on me for the next 22 years!! It wasn't until she became an Aunt to my beautiful boy, Avery, that she realized how awesome Chandler truly is! ;) I'm kidding (kind of!) Kyndall and I are 3 years apart which came with a lot of challenges.. lots of stealing of clothes (me), a lot of name calling (...her), and a lot of moments where we got along perfectly.. until someone pointed it out! When Kyndall made me an aunt in 2022, I realized why Kyndall learned to like me so much. Not only is it incredible that she carried and created a perfect little human, but she also provided me with a title that I would take super seriously. Kyndall, our love/hate relationship comes with so many memories, but as we've gotten older, it comes with more laughs than anything. For so many years of my life, I wanted nothing but to be your friend. I wanted to be your cool little sister and someone you were proud of - I hope after all these years, you can say that ive made it out of my annoying younger years! So happy you accepted the very STRESSFUL job as my Maid of Honor - it truly is an honor to have you by my side.
Brady Daly

Brady and I met back in March of '95, and the rest is history. As my middle brother, growing up, Brady took pride in carrying my softball equipment all over the Midwest from softball game to softball game. What a guy! From childhood to college and on to adulthood, Brady has always been there and in full support- and I can't thank him enough for that. He is always there to lend an ear or give some solid advice! He's the life of the party, the man with a plan, and the best realtor a sister could ask for! It is truly an honor to have you standing by my side.

HEYYYYYY! You are one of my favorite things. And definitely one of my favorite things that came from 2nd floor of the castle elevators ;) I am so thankful for our beautiful and honest friendship. I know that if a hardship presents, I can rely on you to give me advice and I know that it will be very valued advice. You are such an incredible mom and Auntie Toxica loves him so much!! You go above and beyond for your friends and family and you are one of the most loyal people ive ever met. I am so blessed to have you in my life. I am so thankful that you love Allie and so thankful that you have opened your heart to her. Everyone needs an MC in their life!! SO thankful that I have mine!!

I met Adam back in April of '98, and the rest is also history. Adam is my youngest brother and the guy I can always trust to have my back. Throughout our childhood, Adam and I could be found competing in anything and everything, but at the end of the day, Adam always supported me through thick and thin!! He is the guy that will always be there for me, always have some time to grab a beer and talk, and the guy that will come over and help install the egress window at my house that I've been working on for over a year (god bless). I'm so proud and thankful to have you by my side on the big day!

Kelsey, do you remember when we ran into each other at a high school track meet after finding out we were randomly selected to be College roommates?! I was so excited when it came time to move into our freshman dorm room and be your teammate. You are such an incredible and strong woman! Through whatever you do in life, you try your hardest and exceed all expectations! Thank you for all of your positivity and beautiful words of encouragement during every moment in my life when I needed it. You are an extremely kind, loyal and absolutely the best hype man! We have so many beautiful memories together and I know we have a million more to come!

Morgan and I met in college in 2011! We played college softball together at the University of South Dakota. Back in our college days, outside of practices and games, you could always find Morg constantly nudging me, trying to keep me awake during class! Nowadays, you can find Dr. Morgan saving lives (You can tell based on career paths who actually stayed awake during college). Morgan is loyal, always ready to have a good time, and one of the greatest models to ever walk this earth. So blessed to have this incredible person standing by my side!

From the moment I met you, I knew I wanted to be your friend. I mean, who wouldn’t? You have a beautiful and magnetic charm! I was bound and determined to force you to be my friend. Little did I know, you had some devious plans up your sleeve to rope me in as well. Thank goodness we both think similarly because, look at us now—friends and co-conspirators! Les be honest, the entire reason Allie made that initial trip to Kansas City was because of you. You downright challenged her, and she rose to the occasion.. completely in fear of you!!. At that moment, I realized she was a keeper, and you were the true mastermind behind it all. You've been by my side through so many crazy moments. There were times when I'd show up at your house like a lost puppy, and you could look at me and instantly know what I needed. Sometimes it was ice cream, sometimes it was a pep talk, and sometimes it was simply a nap on your couch. You're the friend who shows up to dance with me until 2am, after working a 14 hr shift. We’ve survived so much together. I am so grateful for your perspective on life. Because of you, my expectations for life, love, work, and relationships are much higher (and better)! So, thank you. Not only because you physically got Allie here to meet my adorable self ;) But also, you helped the real Chandler come back to life.

Matley and I met in college in 2013! We played softball together at the University of South Dakota as well! Matley and I could always be found checking out any and every brewery that we could find, and there were a lot throughout Matley's travel nursing years! She is always the friend who is unafraid and unapologetic, and I am so thankful to have her in my life! Through every phase of life, it has been so fun to see where Matley will go next, and I am so proud to call her one of my best friends. Thankful to have her stand by my side on my wedding day!

My darling, Aimee!! I am so thankful that we became friends during our PICU days. If I didn't know you the way I do, I would be one lost soul. You came into my life at the perfect time and not a day goes by where I am not grateful for that. You are so smart, strong, beautiful, faithful, LOYAL, extremely honest, hardworking- Aimee you will go above and beyond for your family & friends and its something I really value about you. Its not hard to say that you are one of my best friends - and whats even better.. our boys are besties too!! Allie agreed to a last minute trip to Florida to meet Aimee when we first started dating.. well Avery and I had to delay our flight, so Allie ended up meeting Aimee & her family BY HERSELF! They went from strangers to besties by the time Avery and I arrived. That is just one example of how amazing Aimee is!

Emily and I met at the youngest age that you could meet: birth- thanks to our parents being long-time friends! Most of my favorite memories with Emily always go back to the softball fields. We spent hours upon hours practicing, playing, and traveling the midwest playing ball. Those memories are some that I will cherish forever!! Now, into adulthood, it has been so exciting to see our families grow. I am so honored to have such a great friend standing by my side!!

Allie and I both were so excited to have you in our wedding party - and now as we're so close to our wedding.. I'M SQUEALING!! Sophie and I met two weeks into her and Brady dating, when our family took a weekend trip out to the Blackhills of SD in the middle of the summer (very brave on her part). From that point on, I knew that I was lucky to have Sophie in my life! And she's been crazy enough to join us on every family vacation since then! Sophie has always been my go-to person to watch scary movies, make some garden drinks in the summer, and someone that I could always go to for advice. Oh- and don't forget about our crusade to chase all of the crazy squirrels out of her backyard (lol). I am so thankful to have Sophie joining me on the big day!

Bri and I have literally been through so much together!! This picture was from team pictures day, our freshman year of college!! We have both grown so much since then. College would have been a total bore without you. We still to this day make reference to our "glory days".. The countless laughs and tears we shared- its pretty insane to think about. I always know that you are going to be my Yes Man - but also my very stubborn No Man. I love both versions, because I know that I will be able to eventually persuade you to always choose FUN! Jorden is the baby of the Durkee’s! She was my late birthday gift in 1999!! Even though you are the baby of the family- you have always been an old soul. The way you view the world is so beautiful and your infectious aura is unlike any other. I have spent so much time trying to understand how you are the way you are - well, what I have come up with.. when you came into this world THREE months early, weighing in at 1lb and 9 oz.. you had so much against you. You were a little fighter then and a little fighter now! I don't think you understand how incredible your story is!! You are the inspiration behind me wanting to be a pediatric nurse and work at the Castle (Children's Mercy)! Your story inspires me and so many others - you're quite literally destined to impact lives and defy all odds. Thank you for being apart of this day and everyday.

We met on a coed slowpitch softball team, where Kate looked at me and said, "Dude, we're going to be best friends". Some of my most fond memories of Hays include: Toby's for 1(00), summertime golf adventures, and a trip to Wichita (where we laughed until we cried, several times). My wanderlust of a sister, I know I can rely on you for the best travel recommendations and building the best itineraries! Avery has been my biggest inspiration for longer than I've known him. He is my reason and my first love. Its been the two of us for so long, and he has asked over and over when we would find our forever person. I was of course dating for me, but I also dating for him. I know that he deserves the best, always, and I have no doubt that we found that in Allie. Avery has been the cheerleader of our relationship since the beginning - and is so excited for our wedding day!! Our day when we finally get our forever. Avery and I met a few weeks into Chandler and I dating. I remember the very first family date we went on: Chuck-E-Cheese, and Avery was STOKED. We sat together in the backseat of Chandler's car while he chatted my ear off on the 10-minute drive. Since that day, Avery has taught me so much about love, patience, kindness, bravery, and how not to take life so seriously. He is a kid who is wise beyond his years, and I envy his ability to always think of others first. His ability to laugh and make others laugh is a quality that I hope he takes with him as he grows older. I will be forever thankful to have Avery in my life!!
