Things to Check Out in KC
City Market
When Allie ventured to KC, I had no plans on things for us to do. Which was stressful for me, but Allie didn't care. All she wanted to do was spend time together, it didn't matter where. I took her to the River Market, on a beautiful Sunday Morning in December. We shared so many great memories there, that we decided, the River Market would be a great place for us to exchange our vows to each other!
Union Station Kansas City
A Kansas City staple! It's a fantastic location for everyone to explore, not only for its incredible views but also because Science City is a lot of fun for families with kids of all ages. Allie, Avery, and I often explore Union Station together. In fact, we made a stop there right before Allie proposed!
Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium
Shawnee Mission Park
If you are the outdoorsy type and want to explore the 1600 acre park, that we love, we highly recommend SMP! There is a beautiful 120 acre lake right in the middle of this gorgeous park and there are so many amenities: boating, fishing, hiking.. and our favorite, a dog beach!
