Flight

Florence, Pisa, Rome, Milan, Perugia or Bologna

The closest airports to Borgo il Castagno are Florence and Pisa. This should be easiest for our guests flying in from Europe. Bologna is another option, just a little further out but there are affordable flights in from Prague. There might be a few local flights in to Perugia as well. To our guests arriving from North America, the easiest direct flights are most likely to Rome or to Milan. Both cities are around 3.5 hours away driving.

The property is composed of a main villa and a number of apartments arranged in smaller homes around the main building. Everything is very central. There are two swimming pools on the property for you to enjoy. Rooms will cost around 100€ per night. Free parking is available on site.

Travel Note

Getting Around

You will need to get a rental car in order to make it to our venue. If you do choose to stay at a different location - but we really hope you do choose to spend these few days with us- please keep in mind that there are no taxis, uber or other shuttle service around this area of Italy. You will therefore have to drive yourself. We might be able to set you up with other guests arriving around the same time so you can share a lift.

Train

TrenItalia

The closest major train hub in the area is Florence (Firenze). If you land in Rome or Milan and don't want to drive from there, you can also take the highspeed and affordable train to Florence and rent a car from there.
