We're Getting Married!

We have reserved the entire complex for our wedding guests from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. The Borgo consists of a main house with rooms and private en-suite bathrooms and a number of vacation rentals with with kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces and a number of bedrooms scattered around the main home. Once we know exactly who is coming we can find the perfect room for you :). Rooms will cost around 100€ per room per night. Don't forget to arrive in time for our Welcome Pizza Party on Friday night and spend Sunday lounging by the pool or taking a day trip to the beautiful surrounding villages.

After having to postpone the wedding twice due to COVID and travel restrictions due to the virus, we are thrilled to finally have a new date for our wedding celebration! We were both invited to a party by friends on a bone chilling night in snowy Prague. We caught each other's eye right away but played it cool for awhile. Dalma decided to be the damsel in distress and bring Andreas a wine bottle she simply ''couldn't open'', even though she was a seasoned wine drinker. Andreas jumped on the opportunity to chat up the young exchange student. Later in the night we danced the night away until a professional ballroom dancer scooped Dalma up. Luckily she later found Andreas moping at the bar. Dalma then convinced Andreas to walk her home in -20°C weather and being the gentleman he is, Andreas obliged and froze nearly half to death. At her front door he promptly said goodnight, turned on a dime and left, leaving Dalma feeling a bit gypped of a goodnight kiss but definitely intrigued. Two apartments, nine years, and one schnoodle later, well: the rest is history.

After a really difficult year of work, finishing dental school and an entire summer spent studying, we jumped on the first flight out of Germany to relax and enjoy some sunshine in the Caribbean on the beautiful island of Curaçao. We spent two wonderful weeks basking on the beach, swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving. Towards the end of our trip, one evening before dinner Andy asked to take a walk down to the beach where he then got down on one knee and proposed! It was perfect and Curaçao will always be a very special place for us. See you all in Tuscany!
