Question

What should I wear to the wedding? What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. That means suits, ties, and long elegant dresses. Please keep in mind that the weather in Guadalajara in December is usually mild during the day but can get a bit chilly in the evening. We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater just in case. Also, we kindly ask that you do not wear wine (burgundy) or emerald green, as these colors are reserved for the wedding party. We’re excited to celebrate with you and appreciate you dressing up for the occasion!

Question

Are kids welcome?Are kids welcome?

Answer

We politely request no children (12 and under) attend the ceremony and reception. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Question

Answer

Yes! We’ll be providing transportation for guests staying at the recommended hotels: Plaza Diana, Hotel Velvet, and the Riu. This includes: Shuttle service to the ceremony Transportation from the ceremony to the reception venue And return service back to the hotel after the celebration If you're not staying at one of these hotels, you’re still welcome to meet at any one of them and catch the shuttle from there. Please RSVP and let us know if you’ll need transportation so we can reserve your spot. Exact pick-up times will be shared closer to the wedding date.

Question

Is there a hotel block? Where should I stay?Is there a hotel block? Where should I stay?

Answer

There isn’t a hotel block reserved for the wedding, but we recommend our guests stay at either Hotel Velvet or Plaza Diana in Guadalajara. Both are affordable, comfortable, and in a great location, with nightly rates starting around $45 USD. You can also consider Hotel RIU, which is about 10 minutes away from Velvet and Plaza Diana. It’s a bit more upscale but still very convenient. Jesse and I often stay in this area—it’s safe, clean, and has everything you might need nearby. For your convenience, we will be providing transportation on the day of the wedding from these three hotels to the ceremony and reception venue.
