Our journey began in March 2015 when we were just 23, and a simple meeting turned into the most incredible adventure. We first crossed paths at Buffalo Wild Wings, and though I gave Jesse a fake number (we laugh about it now!), he didn’t give up. Over time, we became fast friends, and before we knew it, we realized there was something special between us. On July 16th, 2015, Jesse officially asked me to be his girlfriend, and that was the start of everything. I moved in with him at his parents' house, and by late 2016, we rented our first condo together. Our relationship hasn’t always been easy, but our deep love for each other has kept us strong. Through good times and bad, we’ve stuck together, grown, and become the best versions of ourselves. One of the things we truly enjoy is spoiling each other. Whether it's surprising each other with little gifts or celebrating holidays in a big way, we love showing our love in both grand and small gestures. Our home is always filled with cheer—from heart-shaped decorations for Valentine's Day to spooky vibes in October and festive Christmas lights. These traditions are a way for us to make memories and celebrate life’s special moments. Traveling is another shared passion of ours. From sunny days in the Bahamas and Hawaii to hiking in Arizona, we’ve explored some amazing places together, including Oregon, Seattle, Mexico, Washington D.C., and Las Vegas. We even came close to visiting Canada—it’s still on our list! In 2020, we made a dream come true by purchasing our first home. It’s a place we’ve worked so hard for, a space where we love to host, relax, and enjoy quiet moments. We also have the privilege of working together at the same company, which has only made us closer as a couple. Getting married in Guadalajara is incredibly special to me, not only because of the deep connection to my roots, but because it holds a significant place in my heart due to my mom’s love for the city. She was born in Jalisco and would often travel there, and I now understand why she loved it so much after my first visit to Guadalajara. Deciding to marry there feels like a beautiful tribute to my parents, especially my mom, who I know is watching from heaven. This moment is as much for her as it is for us, and I know she would be so proud. Our families have watched us grow, and they’re proud of everything we’ve built together a life full of love, memories, and shared dreams. We can’t wait to see where the future takes us, but one thing is certain: as long as we’re together, we know we’re exactly where we belong.
