Matron of Honor
Ally and Megan met connecting over polka dots at their local hometown grocery store, eventually working there together, hanging out during Miss Askov and Miss Hinckley parades, and quickly becoming the best of friends. Ally and Megan both went to St. Scholastica together where they were frequently roommates, finding many North Shore adventures, setting Ally up with her now husband, and creating amazing song lyrics. Now, even thousands of miles apart, they stay in touch and visit each other as much as possible.
Sami Quern
Matron of Honor
Sami and Megan met in nursing school at St. Scholastica, somehow, they still aren’t really sure when or where this happened. They hit it off immediately and their well-balanced friendship started - Sami providing the fun, spontaneity, and adventure; Megan providing the word of warning (though Sami always convinces her to do it anyway), and the preparation and detail planning. Adventures have included skydiving, swimming with manatees, shot roulette, Harry Potter World, and many, many more. No matter what is going on, from births, deaths, bad and good days in nursing, they always know they are just a phone call or short drive away.
Katie Thorsness
Bridesmaid
Not only is Katie a bridesmaid, but is also the sister of the bride. Growing up was the typical sibling hot and cold relationship - her trying to return Megan to the hospital in a wagon, her pulling Megan across the floor on blankets and sustaining some intense carpet burn, but also listening to cassette tapes to try to figure out lyrics to songs, and putting on some really great fashion shows and swimming pool performances. As adults they have continued to grow closer together, and Katie has given Megan the best gift ever by becoming an Aunt to three awesome kids.
Kerstin Meyer
Bridesmaid
Kerstin and Megan met by (shocking) - both walking into Church late on multiple occasions, so conversation naturally started! Kerstin has also become one of Megans’ main travel buddies - heading to various places like Mexico and Switzerland, and even an accidental trip to Germany. Kerstin has been an instrumental guide in faith to Megan, and a life sounding board.
Keisha Bates
Bridesmaid
Keisha and Megan have known each other since the womb when their moms were pregnant together, Keisha being born just a few days after Megan. They grew up together having sleepovers at each others houses, playing at daycare, and trying to perfect the best way to make box Mac & Cheese. Throughout many moves they have stayed in touch and always find a good ice cream on their visits.
Jameson Thorsness
Junior Bridesman
Jameson was Megans’ first nephew, and made her an aunt. Megan has had the privilege of watching him grow up, now to the point of almost being taller than her. Jameson is a very kind and caring soul, and enjoys playing sports - especially basketball, and annoying his aunt.
Jeff Cushman
Best Man
The one and only adopted step brother of Troy, he has known him as long as he has been alive. Although there were rough times growing up such as when Jeff knocked out Troys’ two front teeth at Thanksgiving, their relationship has now vastly improved and you can find them flying together and spending time up at the cabin. He’s not only his best man, he’s his best net man - helping catch the girl of his dreams along with the fish of a lifetime.
Nate Tiedeman

Troy met his good friend and mentor, Nate, at Sanford Health when Troy was a baby nurse taking care of a critical patient. The friendship grew from there and has been quite adventurous. Now even many miles apart, they still talk daily.
Jaime Myrold
Groomswoman
Jaime has always been a great big sister, starting by taking on the role of Troys’ protector from Jeff when he was younger. Jaime continues to have a great spirit she shares with her 2 incredible kids, the kids she teaches, and her family. Troy and Megan always appreciate her words of advice, her amazing culinary talent, and Troy especially appreciates her death marches that always include the helpful statement of “its not that far.”
Tyler Christifulli
Groomsman
Tyler is known to Troy as the smartest dumb guy you’ll ever meet. He is a world class educator in his field, but don’t ask him to jump start your car or pick up oil, apparently 91 octane is not available. After meeting at Life Link, Troy and Tyler became fast friends - ask Tyler to do his Troy imitation, its spot on - you can tell they have spent a lot of time together. You can always count on Tyler to add the laughs in the conversation, the Disney karaoke to the party, and the genuine sentiments in the tough times. Troy and Megan are so thankful to have him in their circle.
Annie Wallace
Groomswoman
As you can see from the picture - you think thats’ a big salmon, but you need to remember Annie is only 4’ 11” (legally qualifying her for a handicap license but her big personality keeps her standing tall!) Troy and Annie met when working together in the ER at Sanford, they became friends and then roommates for 3 years. Unfortunately they sustained many hard events during this timeframe, which only drew them closer together. Annie is like a sister to Troy, always there to listen, and never afraid to offer her opinion.
Elenora Barton
Junior Groomswoman
Elenora is Troys’ Goddaughter, fishing partner in crime, and has lit up his world since the day she was born. He still remembers the day he was asked to be her Godfather, and the honor (and utter shock, asking the new parents if they were sure multiple times). It has been a blast being her cheerleader for her many accomplishments, and watching her think and calculate through things as Troy does himself. Watching her grow into a smart, young, witty girl has been an incredible privilege.
Reagan Myrold

One word - spitfire. Her mothers daughter and Troys’ niece, Reagan is smart, quick-witted, and full of energy. She will light up the room with a smile and will out swim you any day of the week. She is a joy to be around, and Troy and Megan enjoy finding ways to spoil her and her brother.
Sienna Thorsness
Flower Girl
Sienna is Megans’ first niece. She will undeniably become president one day, and has a free and determined spirit. She is always thinking of other people, and shares Megans’ love for animals.
Breccan Myrold
Ring Bearer
100% boy, Breccan enjoys all things dinosaurs, trucks, and wrestling. If he starred in Top Gun, his call sign would be Rooster as he has you up at the crack of dawn. Spunky, determined, and incredibly sweet - this boy gives the best hugs around.
Jasper Thorsness

Jasper is Megans’ youngest nephew. To her dismay, his main love is the Green Bay Packers, and she will be surprised if nothing packers makes it down the aisle. He enjoys playing lots of sports, is determined, and has a great sense of humor that keeps you on your toes!
Keith Velaski
Officiant
Troy and Megan are thrilled to have Keith be the officiant of their wedding as he is a dear friend, colleague, and mentor to both. Viewed as Troys “brother from another mother” Keith is always there to provide sound advice, humor, and an outdoorsy adventure.
Macy
Dog of Honor
Macy is the dog that came as “part of the package deal” with Megan. Troy said goodbye to his hardwood floors, and shocking to all of his friends welcomed her into the home. Megan is pretty sure Troy is now Macys’ favorite, and vice-versa. Macys’ favorite things include food, belly rubs, swimming, and playing ball.
