What is the recommended dress attire?

Answer

We recommend cocktail/semi-formal attire. As some have asked - the wedding party will be in shades of blue.

Is the ceremony “unplugged”?

Answer

Yes please! We hired this really awesome lady named Tess and her colleagues to take awesome pictures for us, please just be present with us and enjoy the ceremony, as well as not create more work for Tess to photoshop out peoples phones. Unplugged Ceremony - No phones/videos/pictures during any part of ceremony by guests.

What food will be served?

Answer

The food will be served from local caterer, Cookin’ Up A Storm. It will be a buffet, dual-entree service with beef brisket, quinoa power bowl, Caesar salad, rolls, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. We will be sure to be sensitive to peoples’ allergies so make sure you include them in your RSVPs!

Will there be transportation offered?

Answer

We want nothing more than to have you all celebrate, responsibly! We will be offering service to and from Northwoods Best Hotel (Chetek) and Holiday Inn (Rice Lake). Some Air BnBs may also be able to get shuttle service (let Megan and Troy know if you are staying in an Air BnB/VRBO to try to arrange this. Please keep in mind this is a small town so ride shares like Uber are not really available in Chetek. Parking is also slightly limited at the mill, so please use the shuttle or carpool if able. What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4pm, with guests able to arrive as early as 330pm. This will be followed by a cocktail hour before the dinner begins.

What is the bar/drink situation?

Answer

Drinks will be on the bride and groom, the hangover is on you! This will not be a full bar - there will be 2 signature cocktails, 2 beer options, red and white wine, and Baileys to spike your hot cocoa. Not a drinker? Keg root beer, assorted sodas, water, coffee, and hot cocoa will also be provided.
