What is Cocktail Attire?

Answer

We ask you dress what you feel most beautiful in within the cocktail formal attire dress code (short and long dresses welcomed, formal rompers, pants, balzers, and nice shirts). This means no summer dresses, no t-shirts, sandals etc. Check the picture above for reference. (the venue is definitely on the elegant side)

How far is the hotel from the airport?

Answer

Our block of hotel rooms is 34 miles (approximately $40-50 Uber rides).

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

Both hotels where we have a block of rooms are willing to provide a free shuttle if 20 rooms or more are booked at each. So we HIGHLY encourage guests to stay at these hotels, especially the preferred first hotel as we can increase the rooms if needed. Otherwise, they are around 1-5 miles away, depending on which one you pick, and can easily find Uber or taxis to get around. **note** no shuttle will be provided from the hotel to the church ceremony or from the church ceremony to the reception site. We hope you find, just as we do, that Uber rides in Detroit are an affordable option.

Will there be parking at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

YES! Plenty of FREE parking is provided at both locations. So if you are bringing a car, or renting one, know there are free spots to park in.

How far is the wedding reception from the church ceremony?

Answer

It is 26 miles away. A short 25-minute ride! (Between $20-30 uber). Once at the church, everyone can carpool as you are headed the same way!!!
