Our first date was so much fun we didn't want it to end. Two months after that fantastic date, I moved 3hrs away and we *tried* to break-up due to distance. I lost my father to heart disease in 2000; and my mother had just passed away from a long battle with cancer, so I needed the comfort of friends. I moved in with the lovely Harry and Shayna, and Harry will walk me down the aisle. As far as that breakup? You can see how well that worked out! We hated being apart, and talked everyday. I visited DE often and would see Dwight. If I was coming into town, we always made plans. He's a man of few words but one evening I tell him I'm considering another move cross-country to my friends in NV. I would start over and have a lot of support. He simply says that he instead thinks I should move in with him. Of course, I didn't immediately agree. I told him I needed to be sure that he was serious. It took a little time, but I was eventually swept off my feet by his charm. My Maid of Honor, Victoria, told me to follow my heart. So I did. I somehow knew I'd regret it if I didn't. It was a little crazy, but suddenly we found ourselves looking for a home together and saying "I love you". Our lives enmeshed beautifully and easily. His family and my framily then accepted us with open arms. We make each other laugh daily, share many common interests and have similar views on the important things. It has never been so easy to love someone, and we knew early on that we were meant to be together. We have had a happy home full of love and cat fur for two+ years, and look forward to many more! This wedding will be tough for me without my parents, but we cannot wait to share our special day with those we love and appreciate you all for being a part of it with us. THANK YOU.
