Kona International Airport
The wedding activities will be 20-30 min away from Kona International Airport. Be sure to use this airport as Big Island has 2 airports, and Hilo International Airport is 2 hours away on the other side of the island.
Hotel
Royal Kona Resort
We have a room block for our guests at the Royal Kona Resort. We highly encourage you to stay here for at least the night of the wedding because there will be a shuttle service taking guests from the Royal Kona Resort -> Ceremony -> Reception -> back to Royal Kona Resort. You are welcome to stay longer, and if you choose to get an Airbnb or different hotel, just know the shuttle will not be able to transport you from there. Royal Kona is in a great location, just walking distance of many things in town. How to make a reservation: - Call Ailen at 808-930-3256 (Mon-Fri) or the Central Reservation at 800-22-ALOHA - Mention the group name "The Iwuoha Wedding" - Two night's room and tax deposit are required to confirm individual reservation. One night deposit for those staying for just a night.

We highly recommend renting a car. There are limited taxis and ubers on the island. We typically use Turo, the car rental app, and have linked the website here. There are also plenty of options for car rentals right at the airport!
