Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.

Where should we stay?
Answer
We have a room block at the Royal Kona Resort. We highly recommend our guests stay there for at least the night of the wedding as we will have a shuttle that brings guests from the Royal Kona Resort -> Ceremony -> Reception -> back to the Royal Kona Resort. The discounted rate can be used through Nov. 3- Nov. 11 (as availability allows), if you'd like to extend your stay there. If you choose to get an Airbnb or stay at a different hotel, just know that the shuttle cannot transport you from there.

How do I make a reservation for the room block at the Royal Kona Resort?
Answer
- Call Ailen at 808-930-3256 (Mon-Fri) or the Central Reservation at 800-22-ALOHA - Mention the group name "The Iwuoha Wedding" - Two night's room and tax deposit are required to confirm the reservation. One night deposit for those staying for just a night.

Is there transportation to the venue?
Answer
We plan on providing shuttles with pick-up and drop-off from Royal Kona Resort. Pick-up times are TBD and will be shared as our wedding gets closer. Ubers & taxis are available but limited on Big Island.

What should I wear?
Answer
The attire is beach formal. While we won't be on sand, we want you to be comfortable in the tropical weather. The ceremony will be outdoors on a grass lawn. We encourage guests to wear champagne or sage green if you’d like! And be sure to wear something you can dance in ;)
