Things To Do
Loulé
This small town is where Tina's family is from and where the ceremony will take place. We recommend spending a morning walking through the cobblestone streets, enjoying breakfast at one of the local coffee shops, and visiting the Mercado de Loulé (and the farmers market on Saturday mornings)!
Benagil Cave
Visiting the Benagil Cave is a must! You can do a boat tour to see the coastline and caves, or rent a paddle boat to get to the cave when it is low-tide to see it at its prime!
Ponte da Piedade
At Ponte da Piedade, you will find coastal rock formations with caves and grottos that are breathtaking! While it is located a bit farther west in the Lagos area, it makes for the perfect day trip being only about a 45-minute drive from the wedding venue. Here, you will find fishermen boats where you can get a private tour of the caves and grottos. One of our favorite activities to do in Algarve!
Seven Hanging Valleys Trail
If you are looking to get your steps in while seeing some of the most scenic coastal views in Algarve, we would definitely recommend this hiking trail! It sits along the Algarve coastline between Praia da Marinha (east point) and Carvoeiro (west point).
Vilamoura Marina
The Vilamoura Marina is filled with many restaurants, bars, stores, and a casino! It is the perfect place to spend a night for dinner and drinks!
Quarteira Boardwalk
Along the beaches of Quarteira, you will find a boardwalk lined up with palm trees, restaurants, cafés, stores, and ice cream shops. This family-friendly boardwalk is a perfect place to spend an afternoon following a beach day or a relaxing evening out!
