Cocktail attire is preferred. We want our guests to look great and be comfortable! Please note, the cocktail hour will be mostly outside but the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.
We politely request that no one under the age of 16 be present for the ceremony or reception.
Yes. There is street parking available on either side of Blaisdell Ave. There will also be limited parking available in the lot designated for the City of Lakes Waldorf School. Your car cannot be left in the school parking lot overnight. If you anticipate the need for a ride at the end of the night, we encourage you to utilize our designated shuttle service to and from the hotel or request a rideshare.
Before the ceremony: Pick-up times are 2:15 PM and 3:15 PM promptly. It takes approximately 20 minutes to drive to the venue from the hotel (pending traffic). This shuttle can accommodate up to 23 passengers per trip. Evening transportation: Pick-up times are 8:30 PM, 9:30 PM, and 10:45 PM. This shuttle can hold 12-14 passengers per trip. The bride and groom will be taking the final shuttle at the end of the evening.
The doors to the venue will open at 2:30PM for pre-ceremony drinks. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00PM. If you arrive after the processional has begun, you will be asked to wait to be seated until the bridal party has taken their places.
Yes. We will work with our caterer on providing meals for our guests with alternative dietary needs. Please be sure to indicate your request on your RSVP.
Yes. The hotel we have selected is the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington (Discount Code - 92B). This hotel DOES have a complimentary airport shuttle. Please see the Travel section of this website for booking information. **Please note** There are 2 other hotels nearby that you can choose to stay at if you would prefer, but we do NOT have room blocks at either. The shuttle will depart ONLY from the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington. - Best Western Bloomington Edina: This hotel is 0.3 miles/6 min walk from the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington. - Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bloomington: This hotel is 0.8 miles/15 min walk from the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington.
