Horsetooth Reservoir

Horsetooth Reservoir

Requires entrance and camping permits, and is open year round. It's located west of Fort Collins, Colorado, at an elevation of 5,420 feet. Yes, this is where the man suffocated the mountain lion.

Classic Eats, River Beats is what they say. Small venue you'll be surprised to find has hosted your musical favorites.

The Stanley Hotel

The Stanley Hotel

While The Shining wasn't actually filmed here, scenes from the Danbury Hotel in Dumb and Dumber actually were. Either way, The Stanley is still haunted. We've seen the ghosts.

Fraternize with some of the 60 mammalian species including moose, elk, deer, bighorn sheep, puma, foxes, bears, bobcats, marmots, beavers, porcupines, and badgers. Or, just take a drive along Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous motorway in all the United States of America.

The Sundown Saloon- Pearl Street

The Sundown Saloon- Pearl Street

1136 Pearl Street, Boulder, CO 80302

Pearl Street is a go-to tourist hot spot. It is also where we spent most of our weekends as a new couple. Even after moving to Denver many big moments happened here. If we're being honest.. most were at The Downer (aka The Sundown Saloon). Travis once told Cricket he wanted to get married at The Downer. He still does, but we're over capacity.

Zoe Ma Ma- Pearl Street

Zoe Ma Ma- Pearl Street

2010 10th Street, Boulder, CO 80302

Before heading back to Denver after spending the whole weekend at The Downer Cricket loved to stop by Zoe Ma Ma. Usually she'd buy 5 or so meals and eat them the rest of the week, until she was able to replenish. Luckily, she doesn't have to stock pile meals anymore since Travis is almost as good of a cook as Naiomi and Zoe Ma Ma opened in Denver.
