Hey there, I’m Cree— soon to be, Mrs. Cree Foley. If you don’t already know our story, Mark and I wanted to share some of the highlights. We actually both grew up in Indiana for most of our lives. We lived just a few hours away from each other, but it took our families moving to Florida— a couple years apart, but only a few houses apart— for us to finally meet. When my family moved to the neighborhood, My Grandma Susi and Mark’s mom, Cindy, met and became friends. In April of 2023, the two ladies decided they were going to play matchmakers. My Grandma caught me after work one evening and asked me to come “meet her friend, Cindy,” who had Mark there ready to meet me… they thought they were pretty clever. Even though it was painfully obvious what had happened 🤍 Mark got my number and asked me out. We had our first date at Sola coffee shop. At the time, I had no clue how much this man would change my life. Over the next few months, there were many dates, lots of walks and conversation, movie nights, beach days, going to church together, meeting each others families, running errands together, sharing hobbies together— before we knew it, we were best friends; we had fallen into a deeper love than my heart or brain could have ever really understood up until the moment God brought us together . All of the sudden we couldn’t and wouldn’t ever want to imagine our lives without each other in it. I’ve never felt Gods love for me so strongly as I do every day knowing he cared enough about Mark and I to bring us together. Almost a year after our first date, on my birthday, April 21st 2024, Mark took me to a surprise birthday dinner for just the two of us at Runaway Island. After many indescribably sweet details that would take up too much space to share; he took me for a walk down on the beach to watch the sunset. As we walked, we happened upon a bouquet of flowers and writing in the sand, and my best friend asked me to be his wife. With all of my heart, I said yes! Now, on April 11th 2025, we are thrilled to stand before our family, friends, and God to vow to live our lives everyday completely devoted to Him and each other in marriage. I cannot wait to marry my best friend, and the most wonderful man I know. And we are both so happy to share this amazing moment with the people we love so much!
