Question

Weather

Answer

IT WILL BE BEAUTIFUL Average mid 80s during the day and low 70s at night. Bring your shorts and sun dresses. Sunscreen, swimsuits, bug spray and hat are a must! Just be aware, if you plan on going on any excursions to the biosphere reserves or cenotes, you may be asked to wear biodegradable sunscreen and bugs pray.

Question

Pesos vs. Dollars

Answer

THEY TAKE BOTH - BUT NOT EVERYWHERE Resort is all inclusive and can charge extras to your room. Taxis and places in Tulum town take only pesos. Outside the resort, a lot of restaurants will take credit cards and some even take USD (US dollars). Recommend getting some pesos at a bank before you travel or at Cancun airport. You can also change money at the hotel. Tipping is appreciated but not required.

Question

Getting Around?

Answer

WALK, BIKE, TAXI Resort is a short 10-15 minute taxi ride from Tulum town and hotel zone. Once you get to hotel zone, bike rentals are everywhere. Taxi's are also everywhere. Pesos only. Taxis are not metered so before getting in, ask them to quote how much the ride will cost. Taxis are quite affordable and most scenic sites are a short ride away
