Jill & Laura have been friends since their Sophomore year of High School, meeting each other through a Madison Co 4H meeting. When Laura heard Jill was moving to her HS, she hosted a slumber party for Jill to get to know the girls in their class. They share passions for wine tasting, traveling, snow skiing and scuba diving and have traveled the world together, including trips to France, Spain, Mexico, Africa, Indonesia, throughout the Caribbean (Cayman Islands, Statia, Turks/Caicos & Dominica), Fiji & the Solomon Islands. People often mistaken Jill & Laura as sisters as they're typically "two peas in a pod" and often able to know what the other one is thinking and to finish each others sentences. Jill continues to be one of few people that can make Laura laugh until her belly aches.
Beth Davis Fogg

Laura & Beth (aka "Sis") are cousins (their Mothers are sisters) and spent much of their childhood together. Some of Laura's best memories of her time with Beth is when Beth spent a couple of her summers during college staying with her family. This is when Beth introduced Laura to some great bands as they'd go "cruising" in Beth's car with the windows down and the music blaring. Beth has been a tremendous support to Laura through the years, especially when Laura's Mother died almost ten years ago. Laura & Mike had a great time hosting Beth's daughter, Maddi, a couple summers ago when she interned in San Francisco. That summer with Maddi brought back so many great memories of the summers Laura & Beth spent together as teenagers
Marian VanPoppel

Laura met Marian while living in Denver; they met through a mutual friend. They were excited fo find out the they both were in the same sorority in college (Chi Omega), able to share their sorority secrets and the sign of distress when in an awkward social situation. Marian shares Laura's love for the outdoors; they've shared many hikes and ski weekends in the Rocky Mountains together. Marian's been a great advisor / friend to Laura through the past ten years. Marian's one of the warmest and most positive people Laura knows, and a great mother. Her daughter, Grace, is participating in Laura & Mike's wedding by sharing her beautiful voice at the wedding ceremony.
Katrina Brossia

Although Katrina and Laura grew up in adjacent small towns, they met thirteen years through a mutual friend on a ski trip in Breckenridge, CO (Laura was still living in Columbus at the time). The two became close friends when Laura moved to Denver, bonded by their "small town" Midwest values. Katrina has always been a huge help through the years to Laura, jumping in to help her get her Vail, CO condo decorated and settled into her home in Mill Valley, CA. Laura and Mike have enjoyed weekend getaways with Katrina and her husband, Chris; Chris and Mike share a love of fly-fishing. Katrina and Chris have been great examples to Laura and Mike in how to build a relationship that is surrounded by Christian values and patience. Katrina is a wonderful mother to her son, Kyle.
Natalie Kirkland

Laura & Natalie met when Laura transferred with Teradata to Northern California (Natalie was on Laura's team). Natalie provided such a warm welcome to Laura, offering walking maps of San Francisco and Chinese sweet buns. In addition to introducing Laura to San Francisco, Natalie and her husband, Paul, had Laura join them at a friend's birthday / Christmas party in December 2017....This is where Laura met Mike. In addition to palling around in the same social circle, Natalie is one of Laura's favorite hiking and road trip buddies.
Sandra Lee Brenner

Sandra has known Mike her entire life (and most of MIke's). As Mike says, Sandra is the best sister he could ever wish for... she's supportive and the glue that keeps Mike's family together. One of Mike's favorite memories was being part of Sandra's wedding... Mike recalls how beautiful and happy Sandra looked that day. From day one of their relationship, Sandra has always been very warm and welcoming to Laura. Sandra shares several of the same qualities that Laura loves in Mike... she's always upbeat and positive, has a smile on her face, is engaging and a great listener. Sandra is a great role model to Laura as she's a great wife to her husband Jason. In addition, Sandra's a great mother to Mike's Nephew (Aiden) and only Neice (Zoey).
Eddie Lee

If you don't know Eddie, he's Mike's older brother (younger sister is Sandra to round out the Lee siblings). Eddie is 2 years older than Mike and has been a great role model for him since they were kids. Along with being his brother, he is a great friend and has always looked out for Mike. They share a true love for golf (derived as kids watching their dad who was hooked on golf), fitness, bay area sports teams, and their greater family. He truly is the best brother Mike could ask for. Eddie is married to Leanne and has 2 boys, Eddie Jr (21) and Kenny (16).
Austin Lee

So much to say about Mike and Austin's relationship. First off, they are cousins (Austin's Dad and Mike's Dad were brothers), grew up within 2 miles of each other, are 1 year apart in age, and have been lifelong best friends. They have shared a love of life (having fun) since they were little and continue to "act like kids" whenever they are around each other. You will not find them going more than 10 minutes without ripping on each other or sharing a funny memory, then laughing their butts off.
Jason Brenner

Jason (aka: JB, Big Guy, Flex n Flexibility) Brenner is Mike's brother-in-law and is married to Mike's sister, Sandra. Sandra and Jason met while both freshmen at UC Davis (Go Ags!). Mike recalls meeting Jason for one of the first times as he was buying beer for them at the local AM/PM MiniMart off campus. Mike and Jason have shared many memories throughout the years from mtn biking rides, fly fishing, drinking many craft beers, and usually Mike watching JB BBQing up a masterful meal! Mike is so proud to be a sibling to Sandra and uncle to Aidan (16) and Zoey (15).
Fred Choi

Fred is Mike's cousin (Fred's dad and Mike's mom are siblings). Fred and Mike grew up together and would see each other a few times per year. However, it was a trip to Thailand in 2008 that brought them closer together. Since that trip, Mike and Fred have traveled to Thailand (again), South Korea, Scotland, Germany, Czech Republic, Hawaii, and LA (K-town). They both share a love for scotch, scuba diving, fishing, exploring, camping, Korean food, and poker.
Gibu Thomas

Mike met Gibu through his undergrad best bud, Leland Jones, while both GIbu & Leland were in business school at Stanford. Both Mike & GIbu share a love for golf, which is what enhanced their friendship and sharpened their smack talk ability. They have traveled to Scotland (the home of golf) twice for epic golf trips, they have been on countless golf trips, and have played well over 100 local golf rounds together with many more to come. While golf is what started their friendship, Gibu and his wonderful wife, Nicci have been amazing friends. Gibu is father to Grayson and Leo, who love to play and climb on their "Uncle Mike."
Doug Smith

Doug and Mike have known each other for 20 years. They met through a mutual great friend, Keith Cook. Doug can be described as a "brother-from-another-mother". They have a bunch in common from growing up a few towns away from each other, Catholic, the way they dress, and shared friends, to name a few. It wasn't until Mike moved to SF in 2008 that their friendship flourished. Both were single and enjoying SF life together. What forged their friendship even stronger was their many conversations around career, relationships, and life in general. Mike was honored to be a groomsman in Doug and his awesome wife, Nicole's wedding. He even crashed their honeymoon in Hawaii. Doug is father two Ellie and Nico.
