Asheville Regional Airport is located just 20 minutes from downtown. There are limited direct flights from NYC and D.C.

Charlotte Douglas International Airport

Charlotte Douglas International Airport is approximately 2 hours away with many more direct flight options. It's an easy drive and often the option we choose when traveling to the area.

Travel Note

CLT to Asheville Shuttle Bus

If you need to fly into Charlotte and don't necessarily want to rent a car for the weekend, there is a shuttle bus service that picks you up from the airport and drops you off in downtown Asheville. They depart from both locations every 90 minutes from 7:30am to 7:30pm and it takes about 2.5 hours. Cost: $85 one way, $150 round trip. Additional Family Members ride $43 one way, $70 round trip.
