Here are some flight options, hotels, and more recommendations for our out-of-town guests. This is also helpful for guests who want to get out of the city for a few days.

House Or Rental

Timber Moose Lodge

10000 Timber Moose Way
Heber City, UT 84032

There are unoccupied queen-sized bunk beds available at Timber Moose Lodge. They are in the Utah Room and the Wilderness Room (see link). They will be $40 USD per bed per night. Check in is at 4pm on December 10th and check out is December 13th at 11am. If you'd like to reserve 1+ of the beds and are stateside, please contact Courtney at (801) 865-3964. If you're in Canada, please contact Michael at (708) 235-2393.

Hotel

Best Western Plus Heber Valley Hotel

1227 U.S. 40
Heber City, UT 84032
 (435) 222-8708

We have a group rate for this hotel. Make sure you call Keaton at +1 (435) 222-8708 to book your room rather than booking online. You'll need to mention that this is for the Kimball McDonald Wedding, and he will be able to book your room. It must be booked at least 30 days prior to the arrival date to get the group rate (November 10, 2024). If you have questions about this process and are stateside, please contact Courtney at (801) 865-3964. If you're in Canada, please contact Michael at (708) 235-2393.

Travel Note

Uber or Lyft

If you're coming from out of town, it's best to take Uber or Lyft wherever you want to go rather than renting a car. If you're coming from somewhere nearby, Uber or Lyft is still a wise choice, particularly on the day of the wedding. But, if you choose to rent a car or drive, there will be parking. Just make sure your car is all- or four-wheel drive, per Timber Lakes Estates' guidelines.

Flight

Salt Lake City International Airport

Salt Lake City International Airport is definitely the easiest for both international and domestic flights.

Flight

Provo Airport

The Provo Airport is often cheaper than SLCIA, but it only provides flights to select cities and is solely domestic. You can see where they fly here: https://www.provo.org/city-services/airport/commercial-service
