Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No, it will not. It's suggested that you use Uber or Lyft. Parking will be provided at Timber Moose, though, should you choose to drive. Just make sure your car is all- or four-wheel drive or they won't let you enter Timber Lake Estates.

Question

Will lodging be provided?

Answer

No, it will not. If you look at the Travel page, you will see recommendations and instructions on how to get a room at the group rate.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

If you type Timber Moose Lodge into whichever maps or rideshare app you use, it will guide you there. Before you get there, you will have to pass through a gate for Timber Lakes Estate. You can just tell them you're going to Timber Moose Lodge, and they'll give you paper directions as to how to navigate the community. There are also signs once you enter the community that tell you where to turn and such in case the navigation isn't clear.

Question

What if they won't let me in?

Answer

Please contact Courtney at (801) 865-3964. She will have someone come get you.

Question

Can I arrive early?

Answer

Yes, please do! The entire lodge is reserved from December 10th at 4pm to December 13th at 11am. Come hang out! But, on the day of the wedding (December 12th), please refer to the time designated on your invitation.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress semi-formally for the wedding. This website has an explanation: https://www.thespruce.com/semi-formal-attire-guidelines-1216504 While the reception is inside, you're welcome to explore the grounds. We'll have heaters set up, but since we'll be in the mountains and it's December, you'll likely want a coat. If you're coming to just hang out on one of the other days, feel free to wear what you'd like — it would probably be a good idea to bring a swimming suit for the heated pool and/or hot tub.

Question

Can I bring my children or a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue capacity restrictions, we are unable to accommodate children or plus ones during the wedding unless otherwise stated. If you are coming to visit on one of the other days, feel free to bring your children and/or a plus one.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be beer, wine, and liquor available. But once we run out, we run out. If you'd like, you're welcome to contribute to the alcohol fund beforehand and/or bring your own. If you'd like to do so beforehand and are stateside, please reach out to Courtney at (801) 865-3964. If you're in Canada, please contact Mike at (708) 235-2393.

Question

Can I take pictures and post them?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the "big moments," so you don't get in the way of the photographers or videographers. But when everyone is just hanging out and having fun, take and post as many photos as you'd like. Our hashtag is #kimballmcdonaldwedding.

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 15, 2024. You can do so on the RSVP page by looking up the name of someone in your party.
