Perot Museum of Nature and Science
We actually checked out the museum for the site of our reception. The gem exhibit is not to be missed!
Dallas Museum Of Art
Kyle and I considered this for our wedding venue! It's a cool building with some great modern art and admission is free. DMA is located conveniently close to our festivities!
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
Aka the JFK assassination museum. Was there 2 shooters? Go to the museum to find out!
Bush Library
Kyle and I took our engagement photos here. The Bush library is not only a gorgeous building but features a replica of the oval office and a Decision Theater where you can see if you would make the same decisions as the President.
AT&T Discovery District
This new area is literally across the street from the Adolphus and has a bunch of places to sit and have a drink or get a bite to eat. Its new so it's clean and convenient for our hotel guests. Be sure to check it out! Construction was not done by Aug 2020 so another good thing to come out of the COVID delay (I have to try to find some silver linings guys!).
Neiman Marcus
This is the original Neiman Marcus so if shopping is your thing then go check out what started this department store chain.
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
If you can stand the August Texas heat, go check out the arboretum. Its by far the busiest during the fall (pictured with all the pumpkins) and Christmas time but still has beautiful flowers in the summer.
Katy Trail Ice House
If you can stand the heat, Katy Trail Ice House is one of the best patios in Dallas. I have been known to run Katy Trail and stop for a beer afterwards...and completely ruin the workout.
AT&T Stadium
This is a little bit of a trek but for us sports nuts, it's well worth it. Jerry world is huge and seats 100,000 fans. You will also forget to watch the actual game because the screen in the middle is so big!
