Travel Note
Midway (MDW) or O'Hare (ORD) International Airport are both options when booking your flight to Chicago, though Midway does get you a bit closer to Hyde Park (and is our personal go-to). Public transportation, ride shares, cabs, and rental cars are available at both airports.

If you are driving to the ceremony or reception, please see the link below for visitor parking options at the university. The Campus North parking garage is available for a fee, and it's just a short walk through campus to reach the venues. The closest paid lot is the McGiffert lot, though it may fill up. There is limited free street parking just south of the venues along Midway Plaisance, and if you're feeling lucky, there is also limited free street parking along University Ave.
Travel Note
Claire is in urban planning school, so she naturally has to recommend public transit for her wedding. The CTA offers a number of options connecting Hyde Park to downtown Chicago and for local travel through the neighborhood. Hyde Park is also served by the Metra Electric, though the actual Metra stops in Hyde Park are a bit of a walk to our venues at University of Chicago. The Ventra and Transit apps can both help you plan your trip!

Ubers, Lyfts, and cabs are all options in and around Hyde Park and will save you the headache of parking.
