What’s the weather like in Alaska?

Answer

Bring your fall sweaters and rain boots! It will certainly be cooling off, with temps likely ranging from right above freezing to mid 50s. September is typically drizzly and Mother Nature love to show off a moody sky along the golden birch trees and evergreen spruces. It can get windy. They often say “Don’t change your plans, change your clothes!”

Can I see the Northern Lights?

Answer

If you’re lucky! You’ll need clear night skies and to get away from some of the city lights. We will be having equal day and night hours, so if you’re a night owl willing to make a little drive- you might catch them! Download the app, “Aurora” to get notified when chances are high.

Will there be moose or bears?

Answer

The more time you spend outside, the more chances you might run into them. DO NOT APPROACH THEM. Moose are particularly aggressive this time of year and any bears will be making final preparations for winter.
