FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no specific dress code. While we welcome you to dress up with us, there are no expectations to wear anything formal, like a black tie or a long dress. Come celebrate with us in an outfit that makes you feel best while you watch us get married in the church and then enjoy a meal and dancing at a local reception hall!

Question

Why do I have to RSVP so early?

Answer

We understand that there is a very quick turnaround time to respond with an RSVP to our wedding, and we apologize for any inconvenience that creates! Given that most of our guests would have to travel from out of town to join us, we are waiting to hear who will be joining us before booking the reception hall; we want to make sure we have enough food and seats for everyone to join the party! We also know that Denver housing options can fill up fast, flights are helpful to plan ahead for, and both are additional expenses that are important to consider when deciding weather or not to attend. For these reasons, we sent our invite and RSVP information more than 9 months ahead of the Wedding so that you could make the most informed decision about if you are able to come, and coordinate amenities as soon as possible!

Question

Is there a handicap entrance in the church?

Answer

Yes! If you enter the church through the door off of 16th street, you will see an elevator that can support you in accessing the main floor, where the ceremony will be held.

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

There will be limited parking available for those attending the ceremony who wish to drive. The church is surrounded by street parking meters, if you are looking for more temporary parking. There are also numerous local transportation options (bus, train, Uber, taxi, etc.) and many of the hotels in the area are within walking distance to the church. If you will be arriving in the hour before the ceremony (12-1pm MT) you can park in the lot across from the church on Grant street (and down the street from the reception). Look for a Banner that says “St. Paul Event Parking”. Guests can stay parked there until after the reception, but cannot leave cars parked overnight.

Question

I am traveling from out of town. Will I need a car?

Answer

We have worked diligently to make it possible for our out-of-town guests to attend our wedding and reception without renting a car during their stay. As you will see on the "Travel and Lodging" page of our website, there are several lodging options within a short distance of the church, as well as local transportation options available at various prices that almost all undercut the price of a rental car. We are also in the process of solidifying a reception hall that is within walking distance of the church. With all of that said, we would highly recommend renting a car if you are interested in exploring beyond the Denver Metro area, such as exploring nearby attractions (See "Thing to Do" page on our website) and enjoying the outdoor adventures that make Colorado such a beautiful place to be.

Question

Im traveling from out of town...where should I stay?

Answer

We are so thankful you are willing to make the trip! Check out the "Travel and Lodging" tab on our website to learn about some of your options. We do not have any rooms held at any of the options listed, so booking ASAP will be the best way to get a reasonable rate and to ensure that you have a place to stay during our wedding!

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is more than enough! But if you would like to get us a gift, we ask that you purchase a gift before the wedding day, directly from the gift registry on our website, or bring something the day of that is no larger than an envelope. The registry items will be sent to us directly and you will not have to pay for shipping.

Question

What time should I arrive for your wedding?

Answer

The church that we are getting married in will be hosting another service shortly after our wedding ceremony ends, which means that our wedding ceremony will start promptly at 2 pm. We encourage you to arrive closer to 1:30 or 1:45 pm to navigate downtown traffic/parking and get situated in your seat before the ceremony starts!

Question

I have a question that you did not answer above.

Answer

We would love to hear from you! You can reach us by email at coseconnections@gmail.com or text/call 720-989-1720.
