We both moved to Denver/Boulder within one month of each other, and met on Bumble. A couple of dates sealed the deal, and we knew very quickly that we had found something special in each other. We've greatly enjoyed exploring Colorado together.

In March 2023, during Jose's spring break, we invited our parents into town. After Carra picked up her parents from the airport, we all gathered for a day at the Denver Botanic Gardens. There, amidst the serene surroundings, was a canvas prepared by José with his family and friends. On it were the words "Marry Me" and a selection of our favorite photos together. As we reached the spot, José knelt down on one knee, and spoke a beautiful and heartfelt proposal before Carra exclaimed "Yes, please!" and we agreed to spend the rest of our lives with each other. We can't wait to share this joyous chapter with all of you. See you in Denver!
