Groom
What's more to say? I'm the groom!
Bride
She'll be the one wearing white. At least, we think she'll be the one wearing white. Corynne is an introverted soul who is most likely to spent her day basking in the sun with a good book and her cat, The Loaf, on her lap. She loves to run long distances in the woods and dream up new projects for her and Brian.
Best Man
The Groom met Eddie a few times in college but our friendship and bromance grew when Eddie moved in with Brian. We lived together for a few years until, unfortunately, we got a divorce on 12/08/2019 and he was replaced by Corynne and the cat. But, Eddie couldn't stay away so he is now renting an apartment that about 2 miles away!
Bridesmaid-in-chief
Corynne and Mikala met freshman year at Saint Michael's College. They were friends throughout college and were happily reunited in CT just a year after graduating. Mikala is the friend who is up for anything. Whether it's dinner and drinks or girls night in with rom coms and popcorn, she's there with a plan. Mik is always the most prepared spectator on race day with schedules, text updates for everyone's pacing, and maps of road closures so she knows exactly how to get to Dunkin for coffee and donuts. She's the one who keeps all the ducks in a row and gives the best advice.
Groomsman
Brian and Matt had a few classes together in college but our friendship really began through the race car team. Matt was the team captain, otherwise known as the King of Secrets. During his reign, no secrets were actually kept. Matt is known for occasionally sporting long, flowing blond locks. One prestigious night, at NASCAR, his remarkable beauty earned him praise from nearly every redneck in NH. Brian and Matt have also bonded over their love of wood. Not that wood, get your mind out of the gutter. They have been known to disappear at parties to discuss their latest projects. Matt and Brian currently work together at MTU.
Bridesmaid
Silke and Corynne became instant friends when they met freshman year at Saint Mike's. Thank goodness there was another German on the floor. They lived together sophomore year and stocked their fridge with all manner of wondrous pickled goods and pâtès. Silke is an incredible athlete and throughout college, her and Corynne always found time to run, hike, or bike together. Although they are separated by several states now, they still visit each other when they can and regularly commiserate about their career choices via memes. Silke is the one who keeps people laughing, she finds something funny in every situation.
Groomsman
Brian and Chris also met at the race car shop where we would spend long hours testing the effectiveness of the "Impact attenuator." This is where we would test how well left-over pizza and hairy donuts mixed after subjected to 200lbs of steel free-falling 20ft. Some of our better days at the shop would include "fixing" bicycles and setting up a racetrack for the Gravley garden tractor we hotwired, I mean racecar we built... As fully educated engineers, we now conduct "equipment testing" at Chris's family camp in NH, where we've helped cleared some trees with flying lead and explosives. Currently Chris and Brian work on the same team at MTU.
Bridesmaid
Dani is Corynne's younger sibling. Even though they don't always get along, they always have each other's backs. Dani is the one with the biggest heart and a penchant for the creative arts (similar to the Dark Arts, but with more glitter). Armed with her cricut and glue gun, she was the first to volunteer to make wedding decorations and is gallantly serving as creative director for the wedding.
