One of our favorite things to do! Steamboat has three great public courses — and at 6,700+ feet elevation, your drives fly about 10% farther than at sea level. Haymaker Golf Course is the top pick — ranked #5 best course you can play in Colorado by Golfweek and #1 Mountain Course by Avid Golfer. Steamboat Snow-capped Mount Werner frames many of the holes with 360° views of the Yampa Valley. TikTok 18 holes from $135, twilight rounds from $84. Rollingstone Ranch at the Sheraton is the upscale option — a Robert Trent Jones II design with Fish Creek winding through seven of the holes. An Adventurous World 18 holes from $159. Mtn-resorts Steamboat Golf Club is the easy, affordable choice — a relaxed 9-hole course bordering the Yampa River that typically plays in under 2 hours, with a creekside deck perfect for a post-round beer.
