What should I do right now?

UPDATE AS OF 6/19/25: All the prior guidance is outdated, so the only thing left to do is come to the wedding and bring your "A" game!!

When should I arrive to Florence?

Answer

Our Welcome Party is on July 3rd at 6pm. Please RSVP appropriately to all events (especially the Garden Party & Games Day) so we can have a proper headcount and create great teams.

What flights / hotels should I book?

Please see the Travel section of this website for flight and lodging guidance. Importantly, shuttle dropoff at the end of the night will be at P.za di Santa Maria Novella, so please book accommodations near there.

Everyone should wear shoes / sandals that you can be comfortable walk around in. It will be hot! Wedding Ceremony (July 5th): Black tie (tuxedo for men, longer dresses for women)

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

Inbound to the Venue: Guests will Uber / taxi to venue on July 4th and 5th. Please try to Uber in groups if possible, because the road to the venue is quite narrow and we want to avoid traffic jams. The town square of Settignano is a ~9 min walk to the venue, you could get dropped off there and walk to the venue. Outbound to Florence: On July 4th and 5th, shuttles will pickup from the venue at the end of the night and dropoff at P.za di Santa Maria Novella (50123 Florence, Metropolitan City of Florence, Italy) in Florence. Please book your accommodations near there.

Can I bring a date and/or kids?

Our wedding weekend is an intimate affair for our dearest family and friends. We are capacity constrained by the venue, so unfortunately we are only able to accommodate those named on your invitation.

What events will be indoors vs. outdoors?

Answer

July 3: Indoors July 4 and 5: All events (other than the afterparty) will be outdoors. You'll be walking on grass, so we suggest ladies wear thicker heels (not stilettos).

What is Florence weather like in July?

Answer

Probably hot. Stay hydrated and dress appropriately. Lows of mid-60s and and highs up to 90 F during the day.
