Things To Do
Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park
Roughly a 45 minute drive from the venue. The most beautiful state park. A great venture, you can spend the whole day here or just 30 minutes. If you're short on time we recommend taking the Stout Grove Trail. There is a beautiful river half-way through the trail and is a great way to cool off.
Meyers Creek Beach Viewpoint
The most beautiful Oregon Beach. There is a short 5 minute trail that leads you down to the sand and from there you can go tide-pooling, go for a nice walk, or just hang out at the beach. We love taking our dogs here! Roughly 10 minutes from the venue.
Jerry's Rogue Jets
If you are looking for a thrill, Jerry's Rogue Jets has white water jet boating! Their shortest tour is about 2 hours and they do up to all day tours. They are located just 15 minutes from the venue.
Endicott Gardens Bed & Breakfast and Spa
Endicott Gardens is truly a little slice of Heaven. The grounds are unbelievable. They host teas, curated experiences, and have a day spa. All of their teas and beauty products are made on the premises from home grown ingredients. We recommend looking into their services in advance as they are a local favorite!
Cascadia Pickleball Zone
Highly recommend booking a court in advance if you plan on playing! This is roughly 20 minutes south of our venue. Great indoor spot to escape the hot weather. There is a yoga studio right next door in case that is more of your vibe.
Black Trumpet Bistro
If you're looking for an elevated lunch/dinner, the best place to go to is Black Trumpet Bistro. They have an extensive menu that is sure to satisfy whatever you may be craving. Located roughly 20 minutes south of the Venue.
Honeybee Bakery
Nothing beats a small town bakery. Each pastry is baked fresh daily by the two owners. You can't go wrong with ANY of the items on their menu. The smell alone as soon as you walk in is well worth the visit.
Wicked Pig Bar & Bites
This is a bar with a side of food. Their bar snacks are great, like this burger here. Corey got the burrito with beef, and both of them were solid meals to keep the day going. But what they're known for is the bar. Highly recommend a stop in and to grab one of their "Sloshies." The Pina Colada is pictured above, but they also have a Jameson Peach that is too DIE FOR!
Hunger Paynes
Do not be fooled by the look of this truck on the outside. The food is some of the best you will ever have. Specifically the Reuben Sandwich. If you are a Pastrami lover, this is for you! The owner is the sweetest human. Takes about 10-15 minutes to get your food.
Khob Kun Thai Food
There are a few different Thai options in Gold Beach and the surrounding area but we like this one the best! We recommend the Pad Thai and Fried Rice. Best to order ahead as they do get a line around lunch/dinner rush.
