There are ample lodging options in the East Bay.
We recommend staying in Oakland or Berkeley for ease of travel. If you like to use public transit, look for places near BART stations. Both Oakland and San Francisco airports are BART accessible.
Lyft and Uber are also good options for those who don't want to rent a car. If you do rent a car, we urge you not to leave anything in it to lower the chance of a break-in.

We have a block of rooms reserved at this hotel on the water, in close proximity to the Friday and Saturday events. **UPDATE** We didn't realize that in order to book through the block we reserved, guests needed the group code (619). The rooms we booked are a bit cheaper than the going rate, so if you reserved a room - or haven't yet and want to - you can call and mention the code and get the discount. The block of rooms will be released on Thursday, September 22 at 11:59pm PDT, so call before then!
