April 17th, 2015: The day Coreen popped two tires by turning onto the train tracks and captured Lee's heart forever. By fortune of overlapping friend circles, a fateful carpool to Yosemite turned into a beautiful relationship. Maybe it was the rushing water, the vast granite walls, the stars aligning. Or maybe it was Lee playing his guitar while waiting for a tow truck, or Coreen pressing Lee for his 30 second life story. Whatever it was, by the time we were roasting marshmallows the next night, the spark was lit, and it's been burning bright ever since. Yosemite remains a special place for us. It's where we got engaged, and where we hope to take our kids some day. When we are there, we remember how awesome life - nature, on its own - can be, and feel connected to the ones who came before us. We love each other, but our life is so rich because of our community. This moment is so much more meaningful because you will be there to support us in our commitment to each other. We love you, and we can't wait to celebrate together!
