Flight
The closest major airport to Cape Cod is Boston Logan. From there it's easy to access rental cars and/or public transportation to Provincetown. The drive is approximately 2.5 hours to Provincetown.
Train
Without a car, the easiest way to get to Provincetown is the fast ferry from the Boston Seaport. The ferry terminal is easily reached from Boston Logan Airport, South Station and the Silver Line Subway. In the case of inclement weather, this company provides a shuttle bus that will drop you off in the center of town. Because seating is limited, we recommend booking early.
Train
We've taken Peter Pan from major cities like NYC and Boston, and if you are flexible with travel times, this is the most affordable option. Peter Pan has pick up locations in Boston at Logan Airport and South Station. Once on Cape Cod, expect a bus transfer in Hyannis.
