Breakwater is a 1.2 mile rock jetty that divides two portions of Cape Cod Bay, and leads to the Wood End Lighthouse. While this is a beautiful walk, we would caution you that this may be difficult to cross during high tide or if the rocks are slippery.
This beach offers a gentle alternative to the larger waves on the Atlantic side of the Outer Cape, and is a popular place to watch sunset.
Ptown is one of the most bike friendly places in the country! There are many family-friendly trails - most of which lead to the beach. If you are looking for a more advanced ride, the Province Lands Bike Trail is a 7+ mile paved loop that winds through the beach forest and out to Race Point Beach. While stunningly beautiful, a large portion of this ride is uphill, and is NOT recommended for a casual ride.
