Sydney and Justin first met on St. Patricks Day 2018 at a bar across the street from Oregon State University, where they were both attending. Justin and his friends decided to sit out back by the firepit which they had all to themselves. Sydney and her friends arrived and decided to explore what is in the back of the bar and saw a firepit with several empty seats and a group of men. Justin at the time was inside grabbing drinks for the guys, and Sydney asked if they could sit in the empty seats, to which the guys agreed. Suddenly Justin came back and took his seat, only to find that there were a bunch of good looking gals there. They all began talking as a group, and Sydney and Justin both caught each others eye. The girls had a plan to go to the bar next door and invited the guys to join. Justin and Sydney began talking and getting to know each other separately throughout the night. Their conversations seemed effortless and fun. By the end of the night Sydney was enchanted by Justins life of the party energy and sense of humor while Justin was infatuated with Sydneys banter, thoughtfulness of her friends, and overall kindness. At the end of the night they exchanged numbers and after a daunting 24 hours, which Sydney describes as feeling like ages, Justin finally reached out to set up a date which started a beautiful relationship.
