This is the closest (and most beautiful) airport to fly into!

Salt Lake City is often a more affordable option for guests flying in, and is about a five hour drive to Jackson Hole.

Idaho Falls (IDA)

Idaho Falls is about a 2 hour drive from Jackson Hole. Flights are not typically any cheaper into here. This is the closest option if flights into Jackson Hole have filled up. It is a very small airport.

Bozeman, MT (BZN)

Bozeman, Montana is 4.5 hours north of Jackson Hole. Flying into Bozeman can be equal or sometimes cheaper than flying into Jackson Hole. Bozeman is a great option if you want to bookend your trip to Jackson Hole with a day or two spent in Yellowstone. Both Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park lie in between Bozeman and Jackson. However, the 4.5 hour drive skirts around both National Parks so add more time if you plan to drive through the parks.

Denver, CO (DEN)

The Denver Airport is 8 hours from Jackson Hole. Denver is typically the cheapest option to fly into but we don't recommend the drive. About 5 out of the 8 hours of driving is beautiful but 16 hours of driving can really take up a lot of time that could be spent exploring Jackson Hole. The costs of renting a car plus gas usually equals the amount you would spend flying into Jackson Hole. To each their own though!

House Or Rental

VRBO or Airbnb

Check out VRBO or Airbnb for local house, condo, and cabin rentals. This is a great option for families! We recommend looking in the towns of Jackson and Wilson first, followed by Victor, Idaho or Driggs, Idaho. These Idaho towns are a little further from the venue but may offer some great rates!

Rental Car

Jackson Hole Airport or Town of Jackson

We recommend reserving a rental car online. We have found great rates on Hotwire.com. If you are flying into Jackson Hole Airport please make note of whether your rental car is "In Terminal" or in town. If your rental car is in town, there will be about a 15 minute shuttle. However, the wait for the shuttle can be long sometimes.

Travel Note

Camping

Campgrounds in Grand Teton National Park can be reserved online. Camping in Forest Service Campgrounds is usually first come first camped. Bring cash to pay for your sight as some of them aren't manned. Free dispersed camping in the National Forests is allowed on most marked Forest Service roads.
